Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

For a small town, rural caravan park, this is a great little park. It is located on the Marin road so there is a little unavoidable road noise. The amenities block is clean and well maintained, and even has a heater over the showers. There is a camp kitchen that is clean, and has BBQ facilities and a TV. Staff were friendly.

Stayed overnight. Price was $83 per night for cabin two. Curtains on sliding door absolutely so dirty. Floor inside also very dirty as was bathroom. Sheets on bed very thin and looked dirty and faded. When we stripped sheets off in the morning the mattress cover was grey with dirt. I don’t think it’s ever been washed. I know it is cheap accomodation but should be clean

The park is in a pleasant, treed location and the sites are a decent size. The amenities block is looking a little tired, and when we stayed, at best, I can only describe the facilities as clean-ish. Reading the reviews of others, perhaps we were just unfortunate. It is fine if you’re seeking a place to stop on your journey, and it is reasonably priced. ($27.50 for a powered site). However, the site could do with an upgrade. It certainly has potential.

Stopped one night, called the care taker mobile in the evening, very pleasantly and quickly told us what to do to ‘check in’... very clean park and cheap to stay... highly recommended. Will stay again.

We rang the camp park office, as we were travelling from Cooma, and got Corina. We asked for a site, and she explained, where we could camp, in case, she wasn’t there when we arrived. Amenities were great, even had a heater. Park is on the Bombala River, which you have to cross, if you need supplies (not far too walk).

We had often driven through Bombala and used the public conveniences before travelling on to Canberra so when we were travelling up to Canberra slowly with our trailer we decided to stay there overnight. The park itself is clean, has plenty of room and good-sized sites. Some were under trees and others not. The facilities were very clean, spacious and modern We went without power, The person who takes the money comes around 4pm, You can site your van or tent before then.. The walk into town is short along a path through a park.

I didn't ask for better than that, but paing $21,50 for one man tent while some couple paid $26,50 for a motorhome, seemed to me bit harsh. One of the good things - you don't need a key or pin code to go to toilets, which is annoying thing in many caravan parks.

We stayed in the height of the recent heatwave for 4 nights in 1 double cabin and 1 family cabin. Even though it was up to 40 degrees during the day the location in a leafy park next to the Bombala river kept us cool and comfortable. The cabins were very well equipped with more amenities and cooking equipment than we have had in much more expensive cabin accommodation. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the cabins did have air conditioning. Within easy walking distance to the main street and there are plenty of eating options with a bakery, cafe, RSL restaurant and Heritage Chinese restaurant. There is one supermarket in the main street which is open everyday. This is a very small park so bookings would be essential and the office is only staffed for a couple of hours per day - however, the manager was always available on her mobile. Highly recommend a stop off here on your travels or make it a weekend away destination.
