We had an overnight stay at Bombala on our way to Sydney. The caravan park is small and right on the river. The amenities block is very clean and there is heaters above the showers for those cold nights. An outside camp kitchen and an indoor laundry is available. Paid $25 for a powered sight. Next time we will stay...

Beautiful site backing onto the river with magnificent coloured trees surrounding the area. A 2.2 Klm walk traversing both sides of the river was a daily experience and a chance to catch sight of the platypus that live in the river. A short walk into town for everything that you may need especially the French vanilla slices at the bakery....

Cleanest amenities I have ever seen! The park has lovely deciduous trees, and has the Bombala River as a backdrop. Only a few minutes walk over the bridge into town for a meal (the Chinese meals at the Globe Hotel were lovely and well priced). Bombala Caravan Park is friendly, too 🐾

Great little caravan park next to the river. Dale the park officer was very helpful and friendly. It has everything we need and walking distance to town for a meal. Lovely place to stop. We stayed one night on way to Phillip Island but it would be easy to stay more.

The camping ground and amenities block were immaculate. The Park Manager, Dale, was friendly and very helpful. He was instrumental in returning a pair of prescription glasses left at the park. We enjoyed the circuit walk alongside the river. Bombala is a pleasant country town and is close to the caravan park. We had only planned to stay one night,...

Park Manager, Dale was courteous, helpful and efficient. Park is small, but well-appointed and located. Points to consider: Cash only! (Not Dale's fault, so don't give him grief. Complain to Bombala council if you must - it's their property) Beware the fire hose like pressure lurking behind the innocent looking site tap. Started off a dribble, then bam!

Travelling from Sydney to Paynesville in Gippsland, my daughter and two grand children booked a cabin before setting off from home. The description was promising. Set beside a river with a chance of viewing platypus. The reality was quite different. The location was as described, but the unit hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time, particularly around the edges...

We are disappointed that your stop over was not to your satisfaction. I will personally discuss the issues you raised with the Manager and review all cleaning schedules.

A small caravan park located on the river bank with modern facilities including a heater above the showers. Central to many interesting activities and locations. The town has lots of shops and services which is amazing considering its geographic location. Deserves your support, and it will reward you.
