Mt Hay is an extremely well thought out luxury accommodation, making the most of its geography. The individual villas are sited on the edge of the escarpment affording beautiful views to enjoy at all times of day, and each one is private. Michael and his canine friends were most attentive to our needs and we were very appreciative of the opportunity to recharge our EV. We stayed in the Escarpment Villa with the internal bath which worked well for us. The villa was exceedingly comfortable, clean and decorated tastefully. I well and truly recommend Mt Hay Retreat for couples wishing for a luxury break away.

We enjoyed our stay at Mt Hay as a mini moon post our wedding once we recovered post flooding. The view to wake up to was amazing and the pool was so good Hubbie had to drag me out kicking and screaming when it was time to go lol. Staff are super friendly and there was no trouble for anything. We will possibly make this an annual trip for our anniversary as we loved it so much. We love locally but why would you travel far when we live sooo close to this amazing little Gem? Thank you for an amazing stay, and organising our in house massages. It was the perfect relaxing break we both needed Kind regards Mandy & Daz

Exactly the relaxing getaway that we'd hoped for - but it was just so, so much more! From the friendly, personable and welcoming hosts in Louise & Anthony, to the beautifully appointed, comfortable and incredibly private suite. The absolutely breathtaking views are endless, always changing and very hard to leave!! The birdlife is entertaining, varied and friendly! Throw in the treat of the opportunity to luxuriate in a bath on the substantial deck - and it really doesn't get any better!!

Love the Mt Hay retreat. Second time back over a few years and it's managed to maintain the same high quality for the duration. It's a nice distance from Sydney, not too far but far enough that you feel like you've "got away". Adults only, so no kids and great views.

We had a fantastic (but too short!) two night stay at Mount Hay; our modern unit was spacious, well equipped and furnished, with the most fabulous views from the hillside, over rolling farmland to the sea beyond. The owners, Anthony and Louise, were very welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. The inside pool is great either for relaxing or doing laps.

We had a really lovely 3 nights @ Mt Hay - it was such a beautiful location, it's a hidden gem with absolutely stunning views. The weather was sunny & clear and we could gaze into the distance forever! The room was big, tidy & well equipped. Anthony & Louise were very friendly & more than happy to help with anything if needed. My husband loved the outdoor bath, what a treat that was! The location is just a 5 min drive down the hill into Berry which was very easy. We would highly recommend staying here, we loved it.

We had the most incredible weekend stay at Mt Hay! The room was spacious, luxurious and impeccably clean, with stunning views over the countryside and towards the ocean. A Nespresso machine, microwave and fridge meant we hardly had to leave and the outdoor bath was such a nice way to end an evening (just remember insect repellant!). We can't wait to come back again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mt Hay, our only regret was, it was too short, only two nights. Anthony and Lousie are perfect and friendly hosts, along with Dougal and Griffin their furbabies. The weather was not the best but it did not matter because the accomodation was perfect with the most amazing views. We loved having an outdoor bath in the rain, swims in the heated pool and spa. Berry is a gorgeous town with lots of little coffee shops and other little shops to browse through. They have a lovely bakery, and we enjoyed our meal at South on Albany. Next time we go we know two days is not enough. We look forward to another visit to Mt Hay. Thanks again Gary And Trish

Mount Hay Retreat was absolutely amazing. We stayed there for 4 nights and it was the best experience ever. The room was clean and tidy and even better than we thought size/style wise. The view was breathtaking and it was amazing to wake up to and the outdoor bath was a dream. We had some rain while we were there, and it somehow made the experience and view even better. Anthony and Louise were the kindest and friendliest people (and their cute dogs made the experience 100% better). They even provided an umbrella to take around with us during our trip as we did not have one. The onsite pool was lovely and warm and enjoyable even on a rainy day, and the food nearby at Berry was excellent too. It is worth taking a walk around the grounds to see the extras as it was very beautiful. The road is a bit rough on the way up, so we would recommend taking a larger car, however a small car would still be okay. I would highly recommend staying here, it was a once in a lifetime experience and we will definitely be going back to experience the other rooms they have to offer.
