Detailed Reviews

A nice modern room fairly recently renovated in an all round pleasant motel located in central Berry. Still a quiet location and depending upon your room may have views of the nearby mountains.
I think there was mention that the bar was open for wine and cheese from 4:30 to 7:30. Would have taken advantage of this if it was open until later (say 9:30) so you would have a chance to go and have a meal and then the wine and cheese :-)

We spent 3 nights in the Berry Boutique Motel and enjoyed every minute. Staying in Sydney on an extended visit from Ireland visiting family, we were advised to spend some time in Berry and discovered this little gem of a hotel. Situated in the village, it was very clean and fresh and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We noticed how hard everyone worked but still managed to smile when we met. Our room was fine, spacious and quiet with a small secluded balcony from which we listened to the birdsong while enjoying a glass of local wine.
Breakfast was included in the price and consisted of delicious fresh fruits, yoghurt, croissants, small pastries, various breads to suit all tastes including gluten free, cereals and an ample supply of tea, coffee and juice.
We were a bit sad leaving this little haven but thoroughly recommend a visit to it. Stay here when you visit Berry and you won’t be disappointed.

This was the second time we had stayed at this motel because of our first experience being such a positive one. The rooms were spacious and also had a small patio where we could sit and relax. The outlook from the patio was very pleasant as it overlooked a park. Bathrooms were a good size and had a long wide shelf above the vanity for toiletries, which was great as 3 of us were sharing the room. The motel is well situated at the quieter end of the main street but it's only a few minutes walk to cafes, restaurants and shops.
The staff deserve a special mention; they are so friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again when we next visit Berry.

The location of the motel is excellent for easy access to the Main Street which was very helpful as I am heavily pregnant, however the room we had was on the second floor with only stair access which, had I known, I would have requested to change. The room was unclean- there were brown dirty marks on the light switch to the bathroom, large cobwebs above the bed and couch, dirty drip marks beside the vanity in the bathroom, the shower grout was unclean, and the shower leaked water all over the floor each time it was used. The rooms were not quiet and you could hear any small movements in the surrounding rooms. The fireplace with couches pictured on Booking.com is not the current setup which was one of the main reasons we selected this motel- we had hoped for a cosy fireplace to sit in front of and play board games. Breakfast was standard, however the breakfast area felt very corporate as opposed to the comfy seating pictured on Booking.com. It was a nice surprise, however, that the king bed was actually a king mattress when a lot of accommodation combines 2 singles together. Overall, for the price we paid, the basic cleanliness that would be expected, including when the room was serviced during the stay, was disappointing and the overall feel of the accommodation was lacklustre for the high cost.

Had everything you need in a motel room. Always immaculately clean and presented. You always know when something is classy when you first enter the room and your reaction is real nice, real nice. Gives you a good feeling & smile on the dial. Always love the spa bath, it’s massive and has the most jets in any spa bath that I have seen. Love the shower to. They provided 3 different and absolutely lovely smelling bath salts in elegant containers – again great presentation and the wife loved it and said it was a really nice touch. She also loved the nice shampoo and conditioner that was provided, wants to buy them and said they real good quality. They always provide plenty of coffee, tea, sugar condiments, really nice towels etc. This is one of our favourite places to stay and we have stayed at some real nice places.

We had a room facing the park. The room was quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was nice with a large shower, however, there was a problem with water getting onto the floor when showering. The water pressure in the shower was good.
All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
The continental breakfast was very good and catered quite well for anyone on a gluten free diet with seasonal fruit, GF cornflakes and GF bread which staff would take away to toast in a dedicated toaster.
We would definitely stay there again.

Central to the shops, right in the heart of Berry. Very clean room and the pool was refreshing after a day out exploring.
The continental breakfast included each day had a wide variety of fruits, cereals, pastries and gluten free options. Although I am not sure if there was a dedicated toaster for the gluten free bread.
Towels are available for the pool upon request and housekeeping daily was a nice touch. Friendly staff who were more than happy to answer any questions and even knew our coffee order by the end of our stay!
We booked an extra night. I was so relaxed and didn’t want to leave.

My wife and I stayed at this motel for the first time and were quite impressed. The location is just a 3-4 minute walk from the village of Berry, the room was a good size as was the bathroom which appeared to have been recently renovated. The continental breakfast was more than adequate and the dining room very attractive.
Traffic noise especially early morning from council; street sweepers and garbage collection was a slight problem as we had a room facing the street and as such we would request a room not facing the street when we stay there again.
The only downside was the fact that we stayed on a Monday and Tuesday night and the only places open for meals on those nights was the local hotel. Not even the local Bowling Club was open on those nights for meals. The manager did offer to allow us to use a microwave if we choose to purchase food from the local IGA store.

Perfect location. On Main Street of Berry but set back so little noise from road traffic.
We stayed in an upstairs room which had a little balcony. Room itself was spacious with a very comfortable lounge, and good quality furniture. Very comfortable bed.
Staff, particularly in the breakfast room were very cheery and pleasant.
Breakfast was lovely…we had the free continental breakfast, because we had booked online..a wide selection of juices, fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurts and bakery products served with proper coffee freshly made. The breakfast room itself was very nicely furnished and there is a fireplace and lounge area, though these weren’t open in the evenings on the days we were there.
Only negatives….the reverse cycle air conditioner needs servicing as it didn’t seem to be functioning properly…and it would have been helpful to have a guide to how to use the TV, Also, the bedside reading lights, though very decorative, don’t give enough light and there is only one ceiling light which again suits the decor but doesn’t really give enough light to read by at night.
We would happily stay here again and recommend the motel to visitors .

Quiet room but smelly in the wrong way. The room was a good size, comfortable bed and sofa. Large and thick towels. Water pressure was very weak coming out of the shower head. Overall a good place to stay and explore the region, just have to fix the bad smell.
