The Anchorage Resort Bermagui is 950 m from Bermagui Harbour, which boasts a fantastic modern italian restaurant and boutique bar. Our apartments are equiped with a full kitchen; microwave, dishwasher, oven, cooktop and refrigerator is standard in all apartments. Each air-conditioned apartment features a spacious seating area with a TV. Guests can relax on the sunny terrace, or enjoy a meal in the barbecue area. The hotel also features a children’s playground, a guest laundry and walk-in cool room for bait and fish storage. Free Wi-Fi throughout the resort.

Our unit was attractive quiet and comfortable. The place seems very well managed, and the owner is delightful to deal with. Location wise it is a 15 walk out of town. I think this resort would be perfect for a family who want a bit of space and quiet ambience.

We love the Anchorage and consider it our home away from home. The owners are fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful. The apartment is always very clean. A wonderful place to stay with even an outdoor freezer for fishing enthusiasts.

We had a newly renovated apartment. Very modern and tasteful. All mod cons, good hot water and shower. The hosts are very pleasant and always happy to help. The grounds are beautifully maintained with great play facilities for kids and heaps of parking for the extra car or a boat. Beds and pillows were comfortable and there is WiFi available. Good facilities for stay-in catering. There is an excellent butcher/deli in town, an Italian provider and Woolworths. Located an easy drive, or comfortable flat walk to the town, Country Club, restaurants and the harbour. There are many excellent options for dining and casual drinks. The tennis courts at the Club are newly renovated and the golf course looks totally lush after the recent rain.

My family has been visiting Bermagui for almost 60 years. We just love the place and as a first time tourist said to me in Bermagui this last week.....”wow, this is a hidden gem, we are going to stay longer than planned”. For the past 17 years, we have stayed at The Anchorage after many years at Seaview and Flats Elite. The Anchorage is far and away the best accommodation in Bermagui and the new managers (Ana and Murray) have taken the complex to a new level. I am retired now but spent 50 years in aviation Customer Service and I have not seen better Customer service than that shown by Ana and Murray. Their interaction and cooperation with the guests is superb and makes the stay that much more enjoyable. Something simple like texting when you unit is ready is really handy. I arrived in Bermagui early when a text came through that my unit was ready three hours earlier than normal checkin. A small thing but nonetheless, being able to get into our unit early was a nice start to our holiday. The renovated apartments are superb and worth the extra money although the unrenovated are certainly adequate and offer the same facilities at a cheaper tariff. The fact that The Anchorage has a swimming pool tucked away in a sheltered corner is a massive bonus as most rental accommodation around Bermagui do not provide a pool. This is fabulous as sometimes the fickle weather keeps you off the beach but at Anchorage, you can still have a swim and enjoy the resort. The resort grounds are now immaculate as I understand that Murray may have been a landscape Gardiner in a previous life!! Finally, the location is excellent. It is walking distance to everything Bermagui has to offer. A perfect place to stay to enjoy the perfect holiday.…
