We stayed for a few nights in unit 6 which has two bedrooms. Clean and well appointed. We have stayed at several self contained apartments but these guys thought of everything from dishwashing tablets to olive oil to spare garbage bags. Very nice stay and good location near river. Would definitely stay again

We were greeted as we drove into the driveway she knew exactly who we were and took us straight to our apartment the apartment itself was amazingly clean very modern. Had all the amenities you could ask for from fully functioning kitchen with full size fridge and dishwasher. Very spacious. We popped our key in the drop box when we were leaving as we left quiet early in the morning to travel home. We didn’t have to step in the office once which was a very pleasant surprise after a long drive no one wants to fill out paperwork and she arranged the payment from the card we had on file and emailed us a receipt so everything was very seemless

These units are very well appointed with everything you need. Very clean with nice white sheets and soft white towels. Easy check in and friendly managers. I noticed they even had a small herb and veggie garden with a sign inviting guests to take a few herbs if needed - nice friendly touch. We would highly recommend this complex and felt it was great value

Stayed 2 nights March 2021, 2 bed apartment better standard and cheaper than more "central" double motel rooms but still only a few minutes drive to the main block. Lovely grounds, units well spaced and all you need including dishwasher, aircon, big tv. Many of these kinds of units suffer from spills, stains and scuffs but not this one. Only 2 minor issues, a stain on the shower base (not mould, the unit was spotless), and the hand towel holder was missing the ring, this is an easy fix and should have been done.
There was a strong presence of big fishing rigs with heavy duty diesel tow vehicles, I thought it might be noisy in the early mornings but no problems at all. Anchorage is our first choice next trip, online bookings and self serve entry worked well.
BTW we think Bermagui is one of the prettiest places on the planet.

We recently stayed here by accident (due to a mix up with accommodation at Eden that saw us with nowhere to stay on January 11 for three nights). We rang The Anchorage and lucky for us they had availability and an hour and a half later we were in our comfortable apartment. The management are lovely and accommodating and everything felt casual and relaxed. The facilities are lovely, clean and well maintained. The location was perfect for us. I could carry my Kayak across the road and put it straight in the water. The town or wharf are a lovely walk away which we did many times. We had never stayed in Bermagui before but the town and The Anchorage apartments won us over and we are planning to go back as soon as we can. We loved it so much that we extended our stay for an extra night.

Stayed with wife and two kids for a weekend getaway and exploring of Bermagui. The Anchorage is in an excellent location, right near the river and not too far into town or the local lookouts. The room itself was modern and clean, has everything you need whether you are eating or ordering in. There’s also an in-ground trampoline, swing set, and grassed area to keep the kids entertained and outside taking in the fresh air.

What a fabulous location about 1km out of town- easy walk to Fisherman’s wharf and all the local beautiful attractions.
The apartment was lovely. Very comfy lounge and bed. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom was also very tastefully done. Lovely shower Anna - reception was just so lovely and welcoming. Dave the manager was also welcoming and gave me a good tip about a beach at the end of Keating rd (1.3 km) to explore Danni the owner was also so welcoming and congratulations on a great little resort business! Fabulous and would highly recommend.. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My family has been visiting Bermagui for almost 60 years. We just love the place and as a first time tourist said to me in Bermagui this last week.....”wow, this is a hidden gem, we are going to stay longer than planned”. For the past 17 years, we have stayed at The Anchorage after many years at Seaview and Flats Elite. The Anchorage is far and away the best accommodation in Bermagui and the new managers (Ana and Murray) have taken the complex to a new level. I am retired now but spent 50 years in aviation Customer Service and I have not seen better Customer service than that shown by Ana and Murray. Their interaction and cooperation with the guests is superb and makes the stay that much more enjoyable. Something simple like texting when you unit is ready is really handy. I arrived in Bermagui early when a text came through that my unit was ready three hours earlier than normal checkin. A small thing but nonetheless, being able to get into our unit early was a nice start to our holiday. The renovated apartments are superb and worth the extra money although the unrenovated are certainly adequate and offer the same facilities at a cheaper tariff. The fact that The Anchorage has a swimming pool tucked away in a sheltered corner is a massive bonus as most rental accommodation around Bermagui do not provide a pool. This is fabulous as sometimes the fickle weather keeps you off the beach but at Anchorage, you can still have a swim and enjoy the resort. The resort grounds are now immaculate as I understand that Murray may have been a landscape Gardiner in a previous life!! Finally, the location is excellent. It is walking distance to everything Bermagui has to offer. A perfect place to stay to enjoy the perfect holiday.

Our second visit within four months and once again we had a great time. As other reviewers have said, this is a well-appointed, well-located accomodation within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants and cafes, and other facilities. And the managers, Ana and Murray, are friendly and helpful.

After hearing mid 2022 that Ana and Murray had left Bermagui and therefore their hosting duties at The Anchorage, I faced my first January stay in many years with some trepidation. However, I was delighted to subsequently learn that Ana and Murray are back!! Welcome back guys, you are fantastic hosts. I wrote in February 2022 and gave The Anchorage five stars. This year, I took my three Grandkids to Bermagui for the first time and because of school, we went in January rather than my normal February. The Anchorage was full but was managed brilliantly by Ana and Murray. The text “instructions” for room access worked well, rooms were spotless, grounds immaculate, kids trampoline a great distraction for kids pool was spotless and new BBQ very welcome. All in all, The Anchorage remains five star and in my view, the only place to stay in Bermagui.
