Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As a family with 2 small children we booked the Bluegum Cabin online. We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived and saw how spacious the open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area was for a cabin, with lovely modern timber look floorboards, bright modern bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The 3-piece lounge, beds and linen were so comfy and the place was immaculately clean and fresh. It felt like we were in a luxury motel suite! Set upon an elevated property with lovely sweeping views and very peaceful and relaxing. We’ve travelled extensively throughout Australia and this was the nicest accomodation we have found at such a reasonable price. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, as was his gorgeous Border Collie dog, with whom my 4yr old daughter fell in love with (the dog that is, lol). Highly highly recommend the Bluegum Cabin and this caravan park. 5+ stars from us.

This independent holiday park was a great find. We booked one of the two bedroom family cabins and it was the perfect base for your three day exploration of the Sapphire Coast area. The cabin was spacious, very clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable, kitchenette area had everything you needed and the main living / dining area had plenty of room. The balcony was furnished with a table and chairs so you could enjoy the beautiful weather and dine outside. The service from the owners was first class, nothing was a problem. Pricing was also very competitive even during the holiday period. Don't overlook this park when travelling to Bega, especially for good value for money family accommodation.

I confirmed per phone that I would be able to cancel my booking without incurring a fee as booking.com did not allow this.
When I needed to cancel this information was not honoured, therefore false information was given by staff.
Was very disappointed and out of pocket.

Stayed here as only accommodation available. Stayed in a non ensuite cabin which didn't worry me as toilet block was across the road from cabin. The toilets and showers were very clean.

The cabin was old and ants in the biscuits,tv only could get 1 channel and then the picture was sketchy.
Redeeming quality was the bed was comfortable and staff friendly.
I did only pay $65 for the night so shouldn't expect too much.
Would stay at park again but not in this type of cabin.

My cabin was reasonably dated but well-equipped and had all I needed. The price was great, which made it pretty good value for money overall. The owners were friendly. The site is on the edge of town.

Situated in an elevated position behind the town with views to the mountains. It only took us a short drive to get to Tathra for the beach yet it cost 1/2 of what it would have if we had stayed in Tathra. The sites are grassy and green and spacious. There are lots of toilets and 4 showers and I never once ran into anybody else in there. Perhaps most people have bathrooms in their vans theses days. The amenities are spotlessly clean and the showers had good water pressure with a decent shower head.
There is a laundry and games room.
Management are friendly but not in you face.
They have a few cabins but most of them are older style. The majority of sights are for caravans and camping.
Town is not far away but perhaps a little too far for walking. If you do walk there is a big hill to come back up.
Overall i find the basic caravan parks are so much better than the fancy ones. Cheaper, quieter and a lot more spacious.

Perfect little place to stop! Affordable, clean, and well maintained facilities. The family that operate the park were lovely and had a gorgeous dog that played with the kids around the park. Quaint, but provided decent space for our little camper van. Toilets and showers were nice. Other campers friendly and sociable. Very impressed!

Bega caravan park. Guided to site, told how to back in. Power lead to go behind van so not in front of or through other site. Offered longer extension lead if not possible with own.
Toilets and showers, neat clean and modern. Real soap supplied not hand wash.
Camp kitchen small but functional. 2 tables, 8-12 chairs, big domestic fridge. TV, bbq, cleaning gear, didn't see but not look for crockery or cutlery.
Lots of cabins, didn't look at any. Appeared to be a few seasonal or annual vans.
Close to main road so a bit noisy at night or early morning.
