Detailed Reviews
Wow, what a surprise. Rang up when dissatisfied with another place and was immediately given a very reasonable rate. When we arrived the check in was friendly and courteous. Whilst they are renovating rooms at the rear of the property our’s was on the ground floor in a renovated block. It has everything and it is scrupulously clean. Everything works. En-suite is just that but again very clean and tidy. Comfortable queen sized bed with great pillows. Iron and ironing board. Air conditioner was very quiet as well. Parking just outside. Cannot fault this place particularly for the price. We’ll definitely be back.

A good place to stay if you have business in Bega. We had to pay extra for our dog which I wasn't happy with. This is the 2nd time we stayed here and the staff were quite friendly to us. Nicely renovated rooms, good to have them updated and modern.

Stopped here on our way through. Typical motel style accomm. Very comfy beds, good amenities and a toaster. Decent hairdryer. Great shower with good water pressure. Nice & quiet. Good value for money. We have a dog so it was good to be able to stay somewhere we could take him.

We stayed at this property for one night while escaping from bushfires. We were grateful to escape Mallacoota and have somewhere to stay, but the property owner took advantage of our desperation to find somewhere for our young family to stay (we had a 1yo and a 3yo with us) and decided it would be appropriate to charge $300 a night for a room which would normally cost less than $100 per night. The carpets were stained, and the bathroom smelled of mould.
I am absolutely disgusted that a business could take advantage of families trying to find refugee from fires. I hope I can urge some people to spend your money elsewhere and stay somewhere else!! It should be noted that they also have a sister hotel in Eden where they kindly offered us a room for $560 a night.
To the owners, I hope everyone in and around your motel evacuates safely and then burns to the ground!!

Lovely owner, freshly renovated and comfortable bed.
Previous reviewers complaints about noise from Indians was a bit unfair. Noise at country hotels isn't uncommon and they were happily having a birthday which they wrapped at 10. We were next to them and it wasn't a drama.
Couple of minutes from the main street and the rooms have a fully outfitted kitchen with microwave and electric cooker. Food is available at the front office so you don't have to go to town.
All I can say is support our regional businesses as they really need it right now.

Lovely room with 2 comfy queen beds at a very reasonable price even in school holidays. Friendly welcome, kettle, toaster microwave, crockery and cutlery all supplied in the room. Next time we are in the area we will definitely stay here again. I recommend a 15 Min drive down to Tathra Beach for fish and chips (shop closes 7pm) and the short headland walk at the old wharf

A dated and ageing motel. At $120 a night it's not 5 star luxury but I don't call that budget either. No cafe on site, distance to town is longer than the stated 550m; if you choose to walk then coming back it's uphill. No teaspoons, no wine glasses, no plug for the bathroom sink, no flyscreens. A comfortable bed though.

I chose this motel despite being further from the restaurants as it has been recently renovated. It was actually way comfier than many hotels I have stayed in- comfy bed, toasty warm air con in winter, rainfall shower, smart TV with netflix.
The one downside is I didn't have a car and it is a bit of a hike uphill to get home from the shops/ restaurants.

Motel is old externally with new refurb internally. Unfortunately this place attracts people who sit outside their room drinking and smoking all hours of the night. Playing music and talking seems to be a feature of inconsiderate people also

Was on holiday trip, had a booking for 3-4 October to stay 1 night and I booked 2 rooms. Money was taken 2 days before arrival
As unpredictable our Ute broke down just past Cann river. I did call and the staff member was rude and I am trying to explain what happen and will send evidence, but there was no way going to understand our situation . I understand it was a non refundable But things do happen. He keep calling me Buddy .
No way I will book again with them and hope other people read this.
