I was in Bega on a business trip with a work colleague, where we were booked had to put 4 of us in one room which wasn’t ideal. So at 8pm at night I rang the Bega Village motor on and they accommodated us and gave us our own rooms. This was done easily and we were welcomed when we arrived. Throughout our stay we were well looked after and breakfast was delivered to our door each morning with a smile and “ you have a great now”. The rooms were spacious and clean. Plenty of room for the vehicles and to turn the trailer around. It’s close to all the shops, Main Street and pubs yet quiet at night so you can sleep. I would recommend staying here next time you travel to Bega.

Staying in Bega turned out as somewhere to sleep. Unfortunately the leading tourist attraction- the cheese factory, has closed down. Not many eateries, quite a sleepy town.
So the accommodation was basic, but reasonable for the price. I didn’t enjoy the firm mattress, so after 3 days It wasn’t great.
Water pressure in shower is fantastic, just needs a clean/dust above head height in the bathroom.
Location is quiet and central to supermarkets and shops if you need them.

My wife and I stayed in a Standard Family Room comprising a queen bed and two single beds. Whilst upon entry the room has a tired look, it fulfilled our requirements for a two-night stay. The beds were quite comfortable and had electric blankets. The mini-bar fridge was empty so we could store all our items. There was a jug, toaster and microwave oven. Good sized TV. Good free wi-fi reception. The bathroom while large was really showing its age. However, the bath towels were first class and plenty of hot water. Shower was in the bathtub. Broken towel rack and toilet seat were a minus. Large sized car parking spaces are outside the door of each unit. The motel is centrally located.

The Bega Village Motor Inn in Bega is a convenient place to lay your head for the night. It’s it situated on the northern side of Bega. A short walk to shops, clubs and restaurants. It is also about a 5-minute drive to the Bega Cheese Factory.

We walked the 130 metres down to the Commercial Hotel for drinks and diner. you can read our review on the Commercial Hotel here.

There is onsite parking available right outside of your room. Compared to other places we stayed at on this trip it is a little pricey based on it’s location. This could be due to going through booking.com though.

It is somewhere I would stay again though if I was in the area.

We were happy to get last minute booking in Bega during peak holiday season. The Standard Twin Spa Room, was reasonably sized for our family for a pleasant stay.
The Inn is conveniently located in the centre of town right across from Sapphire marketplace with Woolies, and Coles around the corner

We stayed at this motel for three nights over a recent weekend. The location is great but the servicing of the room for the three days was non existent. I twice had to approach the office for fresh towels as no servicing of the room was provided. The motel also displayed no awareness of COVID virus protection.

On departure I paid the account, but I later found I had been over charged on the agreed rate quoted by Hotels.com. Neither party offered compensation or at least an apology.

There are other motels in Bega, we will be staying elsewhere next time. Beware

My sons and I stayed here while visiting Tathra, Merimbula and Magic Mountain. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff did everything they could for us considering the significant pressures upon them due to the pandemic. The focus of the staff and their offers to do whatever they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible was greatly appreciated.

We chose Bega for a weekend getaway on the far south coast and this town was a good stepping off place to explore. The motel is centrally located and convenient to shops, bars and restaurants. The accommodation is basic, clean and the rooms are spacious. Being away from the main roads means that the traffic noise is low. The beds were comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep. In summary, a pleasant stay.
Thanks for your vote.

Excellent motel in the centre of town. Room 23 had everything we needed, milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, biscuits. Incredibly clean and spacious, we loved it. Owner Robyn was so lovely and helpful, in fact all the staff were wonderful. Ample parking and great indoor pool and BBQ area.

Well located, clean and comfortable motel. Friendly staff. Easy parking and large area to do this. Will stay again. An easy walk to all the shops and the local hotel and Bowling Club just five minutes walk. A good centrally located motel - but bring your own shower wash unless you are ok with the soap.
