Can’t get enough of this venue which has changed its name to Barham Holiday Park. Great riverside cabins and sites. Large, fully grassed sites close to showers, toilets and laundry. The cleanliness of the toilets is first rate. Camp kitchen, pool and play ground. Tranquil setting with heaps of bird life. Best of all, truly caring owner/managers who ensure you will enjoy your Barham/Murray experience. We will be back soon.
We have been camping at this park for abut 10 years and once or twice per year for a week. We used have an entire area with approx. 15 Caravan & ensuite sites and 4-8 cabins. Also another group once per year of 8 couples.Since the new owners have taken over the rudeness at the front desk has driven all our group away to the other park at Barham . We personally found the staff extra friendly when we arrived and thought things had changed but they lost another 3 couples this last weekend with there rudeness and lack of customer service. This is very disappointing as we love the park and the roomy sites , now we have two regular couples left and they are planning to move as well.People get charged different amounts for the same type of site/ cabin. I hope they can learn better customer service as the park will be empty and that effects the entire town,…
The absolute river front camp sites were perfect. Spotless and beautifully maintained park & amenities. Thank you Sharon & Zen for making us feel like family. A fun happy hour with local gem Bill on violin & Sharon’s homemade scones topped our three night stay off a treat. Would highly recommend to all. Oh, and be sure to have a homemade sausage roll or pie from Koondrook General Store.
Booked 3 nights & stayed 2. Park is majority permanent sites. Grassy sites, however, water is heavily silted as drawn from river & below standard. Drinking water from tank only near bathrooms. Ammenities block 4 showers/6 toilets, older but clean. Not advised water issue until after payment processed.
This was our first time in Barham, this park is predominately permanent van sites, there are van sites amongst these residents, it must be chaotic during the busy times here and I would avoid it at all costs, the sites are good, however the water is straight from the river so you will need a good filter to use it in your van, there is little to no tv reception so a sat dish is needed, if you can receive through the tree cover, lucky for me I did, the amenities are ok but $30 a night is steep, $180 per week is ok, this park is a $25 a night park at best.
