#2 of 4 Speciality lodging in Barham
We are a lovely little quiet bush park, situated right on the bank of the Murray River. We have 15 cabins, 7 right along the river front all en-suited, and 40 large grassy sites. We are pet friendly throughout the whole park and we now offer 2 pet friendly cabins ( these are subject to availability). We are a great family park with a swimming pool, tennis court, playground, camp kitchen/ rec room. You will love the peace and tranquility. A great place to relax.

Can’t get enough of this venue which has changed its name to Barham Holiday Park. Great riverside cabins and sites. Large, fully grassed sites close to showers, toilets and laundry. The cleanliness of the toilets is first rate. Camp kitchen, pool and play ground. Tranquil setting with heaps of bird life. Best of all, truly caring owner/managers who ensure you will enjoy your Barham/Murray experience. We will be back soon.

We have been camping at this park for abut 10 years and once or twice per year for a week. We used have an entire area with approx. 15 Caravan & ensuite sites and 4-8 cabins. Also another group once per year of 8 couples.Since the new owners have taken over the rudeness at the front desk has driven all our group away to the other park at Barham . We personally found the staff extra friendly when we arrived and thought things had changed but they lost another 3 couples this last weekend with there rudeness and lack of customer service. This is very disappointing as we love the park and the roomy sites , now we have two regular couples left and they are planning to move as well.People get charged different amounts for the same type of site/ cabin. I hope they can learn better customer service as the park will be empty and that effects the entire town,

Pam I don't remember having any discussion with you where I or my staff were rude to you. We have been at the park for two years and have worked very hard at getting "regulars" who seem to think they can just rock up and go straight to site without registering at the office first and without paying their fees up front to stop doing this. The majority of people have been compliant ( it's taken time) and happy with our explanation of why. There have been some however who seem to think the rules just don't apply to them, and it is these who have found us "rude". We travel frequently and I have never assumed I can go to site or enter my room without first paying for my stay. If you have indeed been coming for 10 years you would be aware of the changes and the reasons for these changes which have been clearly explained. If you are in our park and we are not aware you are there how can we account for you if there was an incident, how do we notify you if the water is cut off or the power goes out. Safety is paramount for our guests. As for people being charged different rates for the same type of site that is totally untrue. All sites and cabins are the same price with en-suite sites being a little dearer. Prices are dependent on how many people are on each site/ cabin - standard price is for 2 persons per night. We certainly don't make a habit of being "rude" to our customers, but we will not put up with bad behavior, bad attitude or total disregard for the rules. The majority of our visitors have positive things to say about our park, our staff and our family. They love the park and are willing to listen and abide by our rules for everyone's comfort and safety. For those who are not, the only choice is to move on. Happy camping. Barham Holiday Park Admin

The absolute river front camp sites were perfect. Spotless and beautifully maintained park & amenities. Thank you Sharon & Zen for making us feel like family. A fun happy hour with local gem Bill on violin & Sharon’s homemade scones topped our three night stay off a treat. Would highly recommend to all. Oh, and be sure to have a homemade sausage roll or pie from Koondrook General Store.

Booked 3 nights & stayed 2. Park is majority permanent sites. Grassy sites, however, water is heavily silted as drawn from river & below standard. Drinking water from tank only near bathrooms. Ammenities block 4 showers/6 toilets, older but clean. Not advised water issue until after payment processed.

This was our first time in Barham, this park is predominately permanent van sites, there are van sites amongst these residents, it must be chaotic during the busy times here and I would avoid it at all costs, the sites are good, however the water is straight from the river so you will need a good filter to use it in your van, there is little to no tv reception so a sat dish is needed, if you can receive through the tree cover, lucky for me I did, the amenities are ok but $30 a night is steep, $180 per week is ok, this park is a $25 a night park at best.

Firstly we have a mixture of permanent and annual sites but non of our tourist sites are mixed in with these. The tourist sites stand in their own blocks. Because our park is quite spacious and sites large and grassy even in peak period it is never chaotic - busy, but not chaotic. Yes the water is from the river - goes into a holding tank, filtered then out into the park. Can be used for most purposes, just not advisable to drink it. Everyone is advised of this on check in and also that drinking water is available on site in two easy to access locations. TV reception isn't good in some areas of the park, but not all over and we are working to rectify this problem. Being a bush park with large grassy sites and no concrete the trees are all part of the charm of our location. Most people see them as beneficial for shade cover especially in the heat of summer. As for our amenities - old but clean. We receive so many compliments on how clean and fresh smelling they are. In busy times they are cleaned 3 times per day. As for $30 being too much, well just consider the cost of electricity, rubbish removal, cleaning and all ongoing repairs and maintenance to keep the park in shape.
