After our stay this weekend we won’t be back we apparently were given a deluxe cabin there was nothing deluxe about it couldn’t even fit a suitcase in the bedroom it was so disappointing We initially sent an email on the Saturday requesting a river side cabin we did not receive a reply until our friends booked the following Tuesday and when we asked for a river side cabin they took the last two so we missed out very poor customer service on behalf of your staff We may go back to Barham but we would avoid this caravan park
Best spot in Barham ease of beach for quick dip in the Murray , grassed camping spots & good amenities. Very popular with Vans so be prepared in high season for block outs . Unpowered site we used was terrific , grassed sure do easy to sleep on, lots of trees & simple 3 min walk to town , boat ramp, beach & boardwalk are on the doorstep Very poor communication by management & office closes very early No follow up during recent Vic border closure when entire site emptied within 24 hrs .. management need to up their game on appearing as part of the park otherwise park is great Def fishing area, but water sports ok further down stream past the town
I was in my self-contained caravan and requested an unpowered site. No one else around and I was right on the banks of the beautiful Murray River. Great to be able to have a fire. Amenities were nearby, clean and showers terrific, especially after a hot day playing golf! No one lives on site, so I’d recommend consideration be given to having a change machine in the laundry... Very reasonable rates and I’d stay again.
Just stayed therefor Xmas in a Cabin on the River and it as extremely clean and tidy. Even though it was hot during the day the cabin did cool down at night for sleeping - however in today's world we think a small air conditioner should be also placed in the bedroom for a more comfortable sleep. The view form the cabin deck over the Murray River is wonderful.
We stayed in our caravan in a drive through powered site for two nights. Beautifully relaxing, quiet, picturesque being right on the Murray river & extremely clean, well designed amenities blocks. The Common area is large & very well set up for campers. One of the attractions of the Common area is a huge open wood fire & large TV screen. We would not hesitate to return.
