My husband and I were travelling south from the Gold Coast and booked this property about 4pm online after doing a quick search of possibilities. We arrived at the property and no one was present. We rang the number and left a message on the answering service. We found a door unlocked at the rear of the property and had...

Property: Location was central. Staff: Did not cook enough food for breakfast for our group and had to wait for almost an hour before getting a response from management. Then was told they didn't know the numbers even though I spoke with the manager the day before and the booking was for 5 people (max. of 2 people per room...

Dear guest, Thank you for your time and concern, we are very sorry to hear that you were so disappointed with both our breakfast and customer service. We truly apologize if you had to wait an hour!? This is highly exceptional. NSW daylight savings had begun just a few days prior to your stay - perhaps a confusion occurred? Our...

The property is lovely, peaceful, clean and comfortable. Mary Lou (If I remember her name correctly) was friendly, welcoming and very hospitable. We stayed one night and it was so promising however, we did have a few issues and it really wasn't anyone's fault just bad luck. It was a very cold weekend and sadly the heater and aircon in...

We had two nights at the guest house with no preconceptions. Each room was excellent although one of us did not like the mattress. Staff excellent including lovely cooked breakfast. Good alternative to busy Byron

This place was beautiful! My boyfriend and I booked the night before as he was sick and we had to change our travel plans. We were interested in visiting Byron Bay and found this place instead. I wish we could have stayed for longer! We were the only ones in the house for the night we stayed, so there was...

Had a two night stay here recently. The property is very nice and we found the staff very welcoming. The two cooked breakasts we had were delicious. Only problem we had was due to an "upgrade" we accepted for $40 extra from booking.com. For our extra money we got a worse room t han the one we had originally booked....

Have just had an overnight stay at this property however the experience was let down slightly by property looking in need of a bit of TLC. We also had difficulty checking in as no one was on site and the property was locked when we arrived at 2.30pm. After waiting 30 mins a young girl arrived looking slightly flustered and...

We (my wife & I) decided upon a two night stay at Bangalow as a getaway for our Anniversary, based mainly on recollections of 10 years past. The Guesthouse provides 4 rooms of accommodation plus shared dining, lounge, kitchen and outdoor relaxation within a well maintained riverside setting. Our King room was lovely: quiet, plenty of space with a sitting...
