Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent quality accommodation right in the heart of the town but in a quiet location. Close to the main street shops and cafes plus right across the road from the excellent riverside Ballina RSL. We have been stopping overnight here for many years when travelling south or north along the East Coast. However, this trip we stayed several nights to explore some of the surrounding regional area previously not visited. Will definitely do so again because of its central location, the easy access to the riverside walkway and the need not to have to use the car to explore the township itself.

We stayed at the Heritage Inn for work over 3 nights and could not be more impressed. The receptionist was a delight and provided plenty of excellent information on Ballina. Rooms were spacious meticulously cleaned and well appointed. Situated on River Street with everything you need outside the door to make your stay enjoyable. The Cove restaurant across the road had delicious seafood and pasta. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic family stay at the Heritage Inn. The beds were so comfy, the rooms were clean and the staff were so knowledgeable of Ballina, Byron and the surrounding areas. The perfect stop to enjoy everything the Northern Rivers offers!!!

The motel is in a fantastic position in Ballina next to the river and RSL. The lovely lady on reception couldn’t have be more helpful giving us great advice about the area and places to eat close by. The Room was spacious, very clean and had all the comforts of home. We would definitely recommend this motel if you are looking to stay in Ballina but book ahead as they fill up quickly!

Initial impression was one of surprise and disappointment considering the $224 fee for a King Room. The room decor is dated and could certainly do with a make-over. The A/C is old and rattled and vibrated all night and barely cooled the room, which made for a restless evening due to the noise; to top it off, neighbors in the adjoining room were easily heard as there appears to be little insulation. Cleanliness was found wanting as there were cobwebs between the wall and cupboard and sadly, fecal matter and pubic hair were found on the toilet seat; the toilet cleanliness was remediated by management with the provision of cleaning material. The toaster, cups and water jug were stored in the bathroom, which could be construed as concerning considering the poor hygiene level of the bathroom. The shower/bathroom is somewhat cramped and although conveniently located in the heart of town, the high cost does not reflect value; I recommend you shop around.

Wonderful, personable and welcoming staff. Only place that could accomodate our dates. Great price for comfortable lodgings and so close to everything in town. Easy parking within the complex. There is a pool, air conditioning and a charge-back from some eateries. Directly opposite the RSL for easy eats.

The perfect relaxing stopover. We arrived late - no problem, they key was in the lockbox, the code texted efficiently and helpfully. The room was gorgeous, luxurious and true to the name. The bed was so comfortable, I didn’t stir all night. The staff were lovely and friendly, and remembered me when I deliberately changed plans to come back three nights later!

The heritage hotel. $250 per night. It's pretty but very dated. And oh gosh the beds! Rolling one way or other, super soft can feel the frame below. Not a good sleep they truly overrate themselves terrible overpriced. Pretentious.

Arrived as the skies opened up with a downpour of rain to the friendliest and warm welcome in reception. Quickly installed in the room for the night that was clean, spacious and comfortable. Superbly located to walking distance for everything you need and a really restful night sleep before back on the road. Would definitely stay again.
