We extended our stay at this property as it was so relaxing and a wonderful surprise. Very natural and beautiful surroundings an amazing beach - wow. Pet friendly too. Dogs allowed in cabins and campsite. Terrific cabin we took the superior - very comfortable bed. Good kitchen too. Amazing big L shaped couch that we did a lot of lounging...

We went for a weekend getaway. Staff were friendly and happy to answer any questions or help with anything needed. We stayed in a cabin which was ok. The only complaint would be the bed. A bit uncomfortable and I ended up sleeping the next night on the bunk bed. The pool was good and clean, great for the kids....

Hello and thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. I will investigate further on the bed issue, as they should all have the deep sponge waffle tops on them and be very comfortable. Was it too soft? Perhaps that was the issue. My apologies anyway if this caused you concern. Best wishes, Rikki and the...

We came down a few days ago to visit some friends that had decided to stay here. Well, we were there for an hour and decided that we needed to stay. So, booked the villa next to our friends and then the fun ensued. If you travel with your pooch, well this is the spot for you! Whilst our four...

We have a large, well behaved dog which is part of our family. Too many times I have been to Tourist Parks that claim to be "pet friendly" only to find the owners treat you like 2nd class citizens with lots and lots of restrictions. This park is totally the opposite and they actually love pets all year round. So...

I HATE leaving bad reviews for businesses because i have one of my own and think people can be so unnecessarily spiteful. However, I MUST make an exception in this case. Ballina Beach village owners, Ricky and Rob (and staff) are pleasant and amenable enough until you need something from them, or if you need to alter or cancel your...

Hello Rebecca, not only do you have our names wrong, but the facts too. I have been waiting for your review to pop up and no doubt discerning readers will want to know the facts! Your original booking was for over a year ago - and you cancelled and shifted the dates within non-cancellable periods (i.e. just before arrival or...

If your looking for family & dog friendly accomodation this place is good. You must have a car to get to the dog friendly beach as it is a good 10 minute drive from the park. The food available from the cafe is limited but there are options. If it is hot they will close the kitchen. The cabins are...

Hi Tb, thank you for your review, but you have a few facts wrong. You booked a budget family cabin which does not come with wifi or flat screen tv, Austar, but does have tv, kitchentte, bathroom, indoor outdoor dining, sleeps up to 6. Possibly the cabin you should have booked which does include Austar and Wifi for free, would...

This is a great family park. As relaxing or active as you want. The children's activities are amazing. The activities are a good mix for differant age groups aswell .This is also the first park we have stayed at where dogs are actually welcome not just allowed.

Hello Carol, thank you for your wonderful review. We try very, very hard to make families welcome and that includes wonderful family fun (during school holidays African drumming, fire shows, circus, flying trapeze, live music, kidz klub, magic shows, comedly shows for kids, clowns etc etc) and of course allowing the child with fur to come and have fun too....

We stayed here for one night. There were no cabins available so we opted for a tent sight (Unpowered). It was a pretty decent place. We had a BBQ on our Webber, went to bed at 12am, woke up in the morning, had a shower and left. The showers are in good condition and the staff were friendly, We didn't...

Hello Tyler, thank you for your review - I doubt that you spoke to me, or maybe you did, anyway you gave me a good laugh! This caravan park is an excellent place to stay with kids. We had one of the units which is completely separated from the other units so is quite quiet and private. Room was large and would be suitable for a family also. Lots of open space and only a short walk to to the beach (although the beach is not...

Hi Phil, thanks for the good review, yes although we are only 4kms to the nearest tavern, Dan Murphys, restaurants, chemists, newsagents and even a huge Bunnings, you need to cross by the ferry that adds 10 mins (5 mins waiting and 5 mins to cross). The dog beach is called Patches Beach and is 10 mins south by car,...
