A better than average country motel. Clean and conveniently located to the town business district, but a street or two back to make it quiet and restful. Plenty of parking and friendly staff made for a good night’s rest.

Comfortable beds, very clean. Of all the motels we stayed in from Newcastle to Cape York and back, this one was far and away the nicest presented room. Allowed us to have great nights sleep after a long day on the road.
Marco was the friendly person we met when arriving at the Travellers Lodge. He explained the facilities and pointed us to the communal kitchen and lounge area. We didn't use either but it was spacious and with some games and a large television. Our room...More
booked through a booking site, usually use AMEX, arrived at hotel at 7.30 pm to find they had cancelled room. A phone call to advise would have been nice. Sold us a smaller room. Disappointing customer service.More

This was exactly the last minute overnight stay I was looking for whilst driving down the coast - highly recommended. A very comfortable room, really excellent service at reception, and close to central Ballina area.
