Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. This was our second stay at this park and is close to all services at Adaminaby. Just a short walk to the Snowgoose Hôtel for excellent meals and cold beers. Local bakery is also great for either a breakfast or lunch stop with great coffee.

Recently stayed in a cabin for the week to look around the KNP and the Snowy 2 general work areas. The park had old-world charm, but the cabin was well presented, comfortable and clean with very helpful and considerate staff on-site. Pricing was excellent based on alternate local options .... with another BIG consideration for me as a solo traveler, being they offer Wi-Fi (which not everyone does around that area due to remoteness). No hesitation in returning.

The place is clean and quiet with full reception. Walking distance from the local shop and coffee/bakery. The park has plenty of cabins which are being upgraded, enough grassy area for camping and clean toilets and hot showers. The place is dog friendly as well. The owners are very friendly and helpful, willing to share the best fishing spots as well as freshly caught trouts. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants relaxation or any outdoor activities (hiking, bushwalking, fishing...).

Went there in early January with my partner in the middle of our week camp trip, the morning we were leaving we noticed a flat tyre and they nothing but helpful the whole time we were there. John had helped us the first morning to put on the spare, then when we fixed the tyre, John and his brother helped us changing it again. They were more than accommodating with a clean, quiet and a beautiful site, will definitely be staying there again if we are that way.

This place should not be allowed to trade. It is so filthy and disgusting that even the NSW Health Authority would find it challenging. Not only did we have the most creepy welcome, but we were watched when leaving too. The laundry smells so bad, and as it is so unkept it is had to find entry to the mens. The wall had a big slug on it and the spiders were crawling in the ladies toilets. I paid $40 a night and would not give this place $5 to stay again. Tidy up your park, cut the grass, unblock the sullege drains and you have had two years to rectify your mess. What a disgrace and an embarrassment to a great little town. If you can’t maintain it, move on.

In the New Year, the children (10 & 12yo) and I decided to go to the Snowy Mountains to take some time away from the normal hustles of life. We decided on Adaminaby because of my son's love of fishing and open fields. We stayed at Alpine Tourist Park, which is in the centre of town.
By far, it is one of the best holidays we've ever taken as a family of 3 in our home land. Andrea and the team at Alpine Tourist Park were extremely hospitable; the park and cabin were extremely clean, and the recommendations and activities were endless and affordable. The children had the most amazing time. I cannot recommend this enough. A home away from home.

We came to the end of the trip, not ready to leave. I only regret that I should of booked longer than 5 days. To this day, my son still talks about it and ranks it as his best holiday ever.
So many unforgettable memories and experiences that no money can buy.
I cannot thank the team at Alpine Tourist Park enough. We will definitely be back.

We stayed @ AlpineTouristpPark last weekend, and enjoyed the stay very much.
Great location, friendly staff, amenities (men's shower block) are bit old but very clean. Good value for money.

Was after accomodation here for a few of us. Jan answered the phone and was the most impolite, rude, arrogant woman I have ever come across. Would not recommend her to anyone. It’s quite a a shame as we wanted to come visit this beautiful place.

Response from Andrea Korn, Owner at The Alpine Tourist Park, Adaminaby.
Responded 26 Dec 2023
Please note this was a 2021review!! Our family purchased the park in July 2022 and since that time we have made determined and noticeable improvements to our PARK. New sewerage lines, upgraded and brand new Cabins, significant tree pruning and massive rubbish removal. Every day customers commenting upon the visible improvements. We make customer satisfaction our priority!! But this is just a beginning and we will continue to improve. Andrea Korn

It was terrible. Mould in the cabins, toilet block closed. Really it should have been closed down until fixed. It was actually in 2022 so I hope it's fixed as it was a health hazard and if reported could have been shut down. Hopefully it's better now so please don't go by 2022 but make sure you check it's status now. Also check they have fixed the cabins floor's as the two I went in were rotted as well as mould everywhere. Blessings and I hope it's better now as it had some potential back then. I'd like a free night to reacess my voice and maybe change my feedback to positive
