It was a cosy and warm location with all the facilities we needed (cooking, cutlery, heating, hot water etc). Perfect for a small family of 4 or group of friends on a short fishing trip. Close to the lake (5 minutes drive) and to Eucumbene River and Kosciusko National Park (about 15-20 minutes drive?). The owners were polite and helpful.

Great accommodation, very clean, great showers, well equipped kitchen. Our cabin had two showers which was great for our fishing group of six men. Great to go fishing or to just sit on your veranda and watch the roos and views while having a drink. Very quiet. David and Tania were great hosts and advised they are trying to improve what is already very good accommodation. Our bathrooms had some new updates so they are doing what they say! You won't be disappointed

Stayed in cabin 4 for 3 nights a week out from Xmas. Watched some spectacular storms come over the lake one night. During our stay a lightning strike took out the power one morning in the middle of cooking breakfast. No problem, we moved the frying pan across to the conveniently located gas BBQ on the verandah and continued to cook. Anglers Reach is 45 mins drive from Cooma, so you are not just down the road from a supermarket. But it is quiet, peaceful and there is plenty of wildlife. The crimson rosellas come right up to your door looking for a feed, along with the cockatoos, magpies, and crows. Kangaroos and rabbits flood the lawns come dusk. The lake is currently around 46% full, so the water level is a 200 mtr walk. Not a problem. The room was clean and well presented.

Dave and Tanya were welcoming and brilliant hosts.
I thoroughly recommend staying with them, if you are in the area.
No problem was too big for them and they were only too obliging to help me and my companies last minute requests.
Wildlife around the village were friendly, fishing was only minutes from the doorstep of my cabin and the ski fields were not too far away.
Cabins were spacious and clean upon arrival and were throughout our 2 month stay. Every cabin was furnished had all the cooking and kitchen appliances anyone could need.

Thank you Dan for this awesome review. We always love to get to know our guests and also let them know that nothing is a problem at all. We do our very best to accommodate everyone when required. It is a wonderful serene park with wildlife galore. Its very peaceful and relaxing especially for guys like you that worked from 6AM through to 6PM everyday. Our cabins are a home away from home with all you need in them for the perfect stay. We look forward to you coming back again one of these days Until we meet again Tania & David Young

We were a bushwalking group of 10 stay ing in a cabin and it was just perfect for us. Beds were all comfy. We always all got a hot shower and always warm enough. We made use of the fire pit for happy hour each night enjoying the view and the atmosphere. Being a large group we meal shared the evening meal making it more practical. It was a pleasure to have a large enough table and enough dining chairs to all be able to eat at the same sitting. Our cabin looked a bit “ dated” but was perfect for us and the price was very reasonable. Bushwalkers are generally a frugal lot. Hopefully we’ll be back again and I recommend it 100%

On the 5/6/6 of January my two sons and I stayed at Anglers Reach Lakeside Village on the backwaters of Eucumbene Dam to do a spot of fishing and exploring of the local area. Our overall experience of Anglers Reach and surrounding area's was excellent.
Mine hosts David and Tania are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable.
The cabin was cosey, spotless, and with all the modern conveniences. Also, a carport to keep your vehicle out of the weather. The potable water is top quality. You have good views of Lake Eucumbebe, and numerous tracks with which to access the foreshores.
The Village is within easy driving distance of 3 Mile Dam and Tantangara Dam.
It is about a 15 to 20 minute drive into Adaminaby where there is a small, well stocked supermarket, cafe, art gallery and an Op Shop selling gifts, second hand books and bric a brac.
If you cannot satisfy your needs in Adaminaby, you are too hard to please.
My sons said that driving around the bush was just as much fun as fishing.
Overall we thoroughly recommend Anglers Reach Lakeside Village as top place to base yourself whilst enjoying a top time in the High Country!

Thank you so very much for this fantastic review. Our cabins are very cosy, especially in winter but are also excellent in the summer as it never really gets past 30 degrees. The kangaroos in abundance is amazing and the kids plus adults enjoy feeding them. We so look forward to your next adventure to our park Until we meet again Cheers Tania & David Young
