Our first time at the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised, having read some negative comments about the hotel. The room (15) was fantastic, with a large balcony and view across the bay. Staff were all friendly and courteous and eager to make our stay a pleasant one. The amenities were suitable for our needs and the food was of...

A great mix of fine food and excellent relaxed service. A real pleasure to be able to walk in from the coast path and continue enjoying the beautiful Cornish view with really good food and comfortable surroundings.

Excellent hotel in beautiful location overlooking Carne Beach. Bridge relaxed and friendly with staff who are attentive but not obtrusive. Holiday here at any time of the year would be relaxing and accessible to many tourist destinations.

Stayed for a night as a family break. We live in Cornwall so a short trip to chill and enjoy with the family. The hotel is a bit dated but I have to say the service is fantastic. I have visited the hotel for years for lunch and the quarterdeck restaurant was great with really good food. I wouldn't recommend...

This was our first visit to Rosaland and The Nare. The location is amazing, even on a very windy and wet January day , the proximity to the sea made the long journey worth while. The customer service and hospitality of the staff is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. The room was spotless and although not overlooking the...

Where to begin ? In a word "excellent" ! The service was faultless, the staff are incredible, nothing is too much trouble. My suite well appointed, comfortable and beautifully warm, even had a water bottle put in the bed at "turn-down" not that I needed it but a lovely homely touch. The meals were of a good standard and the...

I'm tempted to give this hotel a terrible review so you don't spoil it. It's our favourite hotel and although it's an indulgence we love the tranquility, attention from the staff without being intrusive and the food. We love the sea views from the rooms and the restaurant. The afternoon tea is also fantastic. We will be back of that...

The afternoon tea was if the highest standard, the evening meal was marvellous, fresh produce and attentive service. Breakfast was as good as you will find anywhere. The bed was large and comfortable with in room tea, fruit...

I have just had the most wonderful stay at the Nare. This hotel is exceptional. The comfort, cleanliness, ambience and attention to detail were superb. Yet what really makes this place so very special is the staff. Without exception everyone I met was so very friendly, yet professional. Nothing was too much trouble, and I was made to feel very...
