Stayed for one night in the summer whilst walking the South West Coast Path (about a mile away). Great village pub, excellent food, pleasant room. Staff were very attentive and made me feel comfortable - ensuring I got a table and fed after my long walk even though the pub was very busy.

We had lunch at the New Inn and it is very acceptable pub food. There are some home cooked dishes such as Steak & Ale Pie and they advertise their fish as being local. Very an is not blessed with much parking so you may have difficulty finding spaces.

Had a meal here as was staying nearby. Baked goats cheese best ever!! My p's also very happy with their choices. You just don't expect such a high standard of cooking in such an out of the way place. Bought the portloe Calender. Again you just don't expect that quality in such an out if the way place lol!

We stayed for 2 nights in late August 2015 whilst working at the nearby tennis club. It was a wonderful experience, the room was excellent, the food was superb and the bar staff were amazing and a credit to the landlord who is very lucky to have such wonderful employees. Overall a fantastic place, will be back but for leisure...

Great food, ok prices, lovely atmosphere & position. Stayed in a hotel nearby with an expensive restaurant & thus searched locally & found The New Inn via Tripadvisor. My comments only apply to the evening meal

Had a lunch here with my wife & 2 grandkids and were not disappointed. Service was good,, staff were friendly and the pub has a lovely atmosphere. Only slight gripe was the price,,,, over £90 ( over £20 for the desserts). Having said that we would probably go again.
