Stayed here for a business trip and was made to feel very welcome. The B&B is located in the heart of the village with access to everything with in walking distance. The landlord was extremely friendly and put on an excellent breakfast each morning The bedroom was a nice size with ensuite; very clean and comfortable

We stayed here the weekend of 17/18 Sept. For my daughters 40th celebrations. We took our dog with us, it was so good that this B/B took dogs, Austin and Linda were so welcoming and friendly, the breakfast's were yummy, thanks Austin, and everything was so clean, good bedding and pillows, everything you could want when staying away from home,... Beautiful place to visit, The Caerthillian Guest House is a lovely B&B. Rooms very clean and tidy, lovely typical cornish breakfast cooked by Austin :) Really close to Lizard Lighthouse and with 10 minutes walking you can see amazing landscapes. I will come back:)

Wonderful Bnb, perfect stay. Austin is a brilliant host and made us a home away from home. Best food quality, fresh fruit salad every morning (not from cans), Nutella, really everything else so tasty. Fully recommended! The rooms and bathrooms were just beautiful and very clean. Private parking. Helpful ideas where to spend the day, nice smalltalks. If we return,... More

We returned here for 3 nights for my wife's birthday in July. Austin and Linda are really great hosts and our room was comfortable, spotless and very well equipped. Austin's breakfasts are legendary and did not disappoint. Knowing it was my wife's birthday, the toast was adorned with a lighted candle/a very thoughtful touch. This couple are very helpful and... This was my second visit to this guest house and it was as good as last time. The bed was very comfortable and the pillow was probably the best one I've experienced at a B&B. I had a private bathroom with a bath - plenty of hot water, no problem. Breakfast was plentiful, with superb tomatoes again - my only... More

The Caerthillian is a gem. The rooms are all of a high standard and are kept spotlessly clean. The breakfast is varied, ranging from cereal to "full English". We stayed ten days and loved every minuter of it. Austin is a very considerate and conscientious host, who continually helped to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We have previously... More

Austin met us with a cheery greeting and was the perfect host from there on in. This place is a traditional B&B and it's a classic case of the basics done properly. Location. Check. Room. Check. Cleanliness. Check. Breakfast. Check. So when you get all that right the only thing then is the soul of the place. And Austin's chilled... More

Austin did everything in his powers to make our stay at Caerthillian guest house comfortable including teaching us how to pronounce the guest house name and its origin. You will need to visit to learn yourself. Rooms good size, bright and clean. Breakfast well prepared. A nice family environment.
