We absolutely this hotel. We stayed many years ago and again last year. The position on the Lizard Peninsula and views is very special, but the hotel, food and welcome just finishes it off to perfection.

My husband surprised me with a weekend stay here. He booked a room with the view of Bumble Rock, The Lions Den and the lighthouse. This part of The Lizard peninsula is my favourite place in the world (and I've travelled all over the world!) especially Bumble Rock! The room was lovely, clean and the bed was very comfy. The...

We've stayed at Housel Bay a couple of times now and loved it both times. The hotel is Victorian and a little quirky, but this is one of the things we love about it. Comfy beds, friendly staff, great views and grounds, and Robert's food is just so good! We're lucky in living not too far away, so we can...

Stayed in November for two nights. Incredible view from our wing room with bay window, bathroom was small but sitting enjoying the scenery was a huge highllght. Dinner was excellent as was the wine, and the walks in the surrounding area are stunning. We felt well looked after and enjoyed our weekend!

Just returned from a three for two break at Housel. It was just wonderful quite special. The owners, the staff, the food, the view from our room all contributed to making this a memorable weekend. We had dinner as a part of our package on the first two nights and found the standard so high that we stayed and ate...

We booked this a few months before going and upgraded upon arrival to room 5 a room on the wing, bathroom quite small but the the room compensates for this, other wing rooms have 4 posters, it's worth the £30 from a sea view room, as we found out and luckily had a wing room, breakfast was really good as...

We spent a few nights here in October 2016. It was relaxing, cosy and warm. The room was adequate, the food very good, the Service was extremely good. We were in easy reach of the Marconi Wireless station and the Lizard Lighthouse. These could be reached by walking along the Coast path.

A place in which to walk, to eat and drink well and to set aside the cares of the world.
