We travelled to St Austell by train from Paddington Station, London. The hotel was a short taxi ride from the station. We visited the Eden Project and then hired a car for 3 days and toured the area. Really good location to tour the area from.

On the outskirts of Par, just off the A30, the Carclaze is set on the edge of a business park and is pretty much like any other of the Premier Inn chain when it comes to the beds and rooms. BUT what sets it apart is the sea view from the rooms looking down the valley towards Par bay !...

Convenient location for the Eden Project and coastal towns. Hotel well signposted and good car parking. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room comfortable. The check in process on line was quick and easy, and the information sent by text and email reassuring and helpful.

The hotel is located in North side of St.Austell close to an industrial park (which wasn't a problem) we stayed a week, the good, we had a top floor room in the new wing, nice room and very quiet, very comfortable bed, good parking; the poor, no elevator (45 stairs up to the room, tough with luggage), a long walk...

Stayed here with a mate for the St. Austell beer festival. Great place to stay if a budget is a priority. I have had worse service in other more pricey hotels. It's near a main road so could be noisy at times but it's also near a McDonalds so nice bit of breakie in the morning!

Just got back from a two night stay at this hotel. Very good example of a Premier Inn. Our room was in the new block and was clearly quite new. Everything fresh and clean. VERY comfy bed, was actually looking forward to going to bed the second night! All staff very good, friendly and helpful even though the place was...

My husband and I wanted to stay for 3 nights near to where our son and family were staying and to where my family live and this Premier Inn was ideal. It was a bit out of town but that wasn't too much of a problem. We had a family room each (romantic!!) and it was lovely to spread out...

A good two day stay with the family in order to visit the Eden project and beaches. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spotless clean and tidied well in-between. The location was quiet/no traffic or noise. The breakfast was fairly varied and relaxed. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Travelling with a child who has a severe form of coeliac disease can often be stressful and challenging largely because it requires 3 things; 1) Gluten Free food 2) Separate food preparation area and equipment to avoid cross-contamination and 3) Staff who understand this or who are truly prepared to listen. This hotel managed all three and as such provided...
