we stayed in room 11 with fantastic sea views, the largest bed we have ever slept in extremely comfortable. But the highlight of the trip was the food! Chris Eden's team of chefs and front of house made for an amazing experience. Every mouthful was a delight and a journey into a wonderland of tastes.

Driftwood is set in one of my favourite parts of Cornwall. The Rosevine peninsula. Loved our hotel room in the attic. The food was amazing as well as the staff. They were ever so helpful, attentive and friendly. We felt really spoilt. Thank you for making this stay so wonderful and relaxing.

Hard to tell which is best, the hotel or the restaurant. On this visit, the food was up a notch from last time. Exquisite dishes, beautifully presented and the service is relaxed and therefore in keeping with the surroundings. The hotel is a wonderful base from which to walk, cycle or spend time at the beach. Stunning views and a...

Having spent this weekend in this very special place I felt compelled to write a review. 11 of us went here for a family celebration with an age range of 90 years old to 17 months. The hotel is full of beachy rustic charm with a twist of pure sophistication. The restaurant is wonderful, the views breath taking but it...

Just home after two nights at this gem of a hotel in Cornwall. Beautiful setting, excellent rooms and superb food. A great place to spend a birthday weekend. Nothing was too much trouble... early supper and monitors for the baby in the group and relaxed drinks and cake on the decking. Both a la carte and tasting menus were amazing.

Three night stay including dining in restaurant, lovely room with own decking with access down to the beach. The whole place has a relaxing atmosphere and beautifully decorated. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble, the service at dinner is outstanding with excellent food being presented. One waiter stood out although they were all excellent, James's description...

We had a truly amazing two night stay at the driftwood - great room, fantastic attentive but discreet service and the most amazing food (not to mention the location)! Having eaten in a number of 1 and 2 star restaurants, the food we ate matched and exceeded all our expectations. I would be hard pressed to identify a hotel or...

This was our second weekend stay at the Driftwood. It was absolutely fantastic again. Our lovely spacious room was on the second floor with a beautiful view overlooking the sea. All the staff are so helpful, kind and attentive. The food is amazing. I love everything about the Driftwood! Thankyou for the best weekend.

After a tough year, we were looking forward to returning to Driftwood and, as in our previous visits, everything met our expectations. Aptly named, because our stress levels just drifted away as soon as we stepped out of the car! Everything here is done in a most professional yet understated way and the accommodating staff could not have done more...

We eat out at a lot of fine dining restaurants but this is a meal I can still taste. The food was absolutely incredible as was the atmosphere and the service. We will drive the 6 hours to get here & pay for an overnight stay simply to eat at The Driftwood once more.
