Have just come back from St Enodoc and had a great time. The Hotel is very clean. There is a games room including a snooker table and other rooms to sit peacefully. The staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. We were in room 112 and the view was great. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and... More

My wife and i recently stayed for the second time this year at the St. Enodoc hotel - this time for 4 nights. Everything was just perfect - the room was lovely with great views over the estuary. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great with several cooked choices available and one afternoon... More

This is a lovely property (it used to have a two-star Michelin restaurant, Nathan Outlaw, that moved to Port Isaac - its new restaurant is excellent, though). Our room was really two bedrooms and huge. Breakfast was included in our rate and was quite good, with cold and hot dishes made to order. The staff was so very nice and... More

Stayed three nights. Can't fault it. Had a great meal first night in the lovely restaurant area. The room was excellent and had a lovely view of the Camel Estuary. Staff were excellent and the whole stay was wonderful and well priced. We stayed on a three nights for the price of two basis. Great value. Will definitely recommend.

We paid £350 for a family suite which consisted of two bedrooms and one bathroom (challenging for 5 people) for my family of 5. The decor was modern and the rooms were clean and well looked after. However the standard is one I have frequently encountered in budget hotels unfortunately they were not charging budget prices. Service whilst minimal was... More

We have just got back from a 2 night stay in this beautiful and friendly hotel. From check-in to check-out our visit was perfect. Our room (115) had fab views across the top part of the estuary, was tastefully decorated and warm, with large fluffy towels and bathrobes. Breakfast was good, with a range of foods, both buffet style and... More

We had a more expensive room this time around, which was amazing - 116, with a superb double-window panoramic view, gorgeous furnishings, expensive carpet, great tiling in the bathroom, huge comfy bed, even separate black-out blinds as an alternative to the 'let a bit of light through' ones. It smacked of great design and money well spent. Ideally I'd have... More

What a find. An exceptional meal presented by an exceptional team. The hotel is beautifully presented. Not fussy but homely smart. Staff are really friendly. We were only in there for dinner. We were wonderfully surprised that head chef James Nathan was in the kitchen himself. But I'm sure his assistants would have done just as well. Great menu of... More

Our third or fourth stay in this beautiful boutique hotel close to the uber trendy ferry stop of Rock. Great walks along the coastal paths and beaches. Take the ferry to over-crowded Padstow to remind yourself of why you choose stylish Rock as a base. The hotel is expensive but has a great location, lovely rooms decorated in beachside chic.... A classic seaside hotel re-invented. That's the ethos behind St. Enodoc Hotel in Rock with its emphasis on comfort, design and great food. Positioned above the Camel estuary with sweeping views across the water, it is the perfect place to relax by the sea. Leave the car and walk the few minutes to surrounding sandy beaches and the foot-ferry to Padstow. Award - winning chef Nathan Outlaw is in charge of food. There are two restaurants, the Nathan Outlaw Seafood and Grill and Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, awarded 2 Michelin Stars in January 2011 and currently named as Best Seafood Restaurant in the UK, by Good Food Guide. ... more   less
