Our room was excellent, lovely comfortable bed, quality furniture, lovely drinks and biscuits, we had an evening meal and it was very nice, the breakfast was very good, lots to choose from, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, we would book the royal Inn again without hesitation and would recommend it to family and friends, we loved it.

Had a lovely evening meal here while staying down the road at the Bolsowen B&B. I was waking around the South West Coast Path and was on my way to Looe the next day so needed a hearty meal. I ordered a Cornish Yarg stuffed Chicken Breast. I didn't really know what Yarg was so just went for it. It...

We stayed in one of the new bedrooms beyond the restaurant area on the ground floor. It was well appointed, comfortable and quiet. An extremely welcome stay after a wet day's walking on the South West Coast Path. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and found the food perfectly acceptable. The convenience of having the train station opposite was a great...

6 of us arrived for an evening event close by. Plenty of off road parking, efficient check in and out. Large bar area with sky sports which was a bonus. We had room 15, plenty of room, large shower area and the shower worked well. Breakfast was excellent, with the full English freshly made. Good coffee as well. All in...

2 minute walk from Par train station and fairly priced local taxi services got us to the Eden project in just 5 minutes! Beautiful 4 poster bed, comfortable room and tasty morning menu that caters for all. Excellent evening meal menu and specials board too-we highly recommend the brie wedges with tomato chutney salad and gammon steak. A must for...

Stayed here 1 night while visiting the area for business. Everything about it was above expectation, I paid for a budget room, £45 inc breakfast. What I got was a huge, clean, well equipped, nicely decorated room, everything you could possibly need. Breakfast selection was good and cooked well. The only very slight negative for me was breakfast was not...

We stayed at the Royal Inn for one night whilst visiting Cornwall. Greeted by an extremely efficient barman who showed us to our room (number 2) . The room was large and very comfortable, furnished with oak furniture which provided ample storage and a comfortable bed. With the size of the room and storage space this would be an excellent...

This Inn was an excellent place to stay, good food, lovely spacious rooms, friendly staff and best of all for us was right opposite a lovely little station complete with semaphore signals! (for those in the know) From here we traveled the branch lines to St Ives, Falmouth, East and West Looe and Newquay. Also short bus ride to Fowey...

I'd say this is a typical pub/B&B establishment. Ok for one or two nights. Room was clean and spacious, however a few things needed TLC. The bath hot tap wasn't working and they seriously need to invest in some new pillows, it was like sleeping on a sack of coal! The food was just typical pub grub, nothing fantastic but...

Four of us stayed here overnight and had a meal in the restaurant, we all thought everything about the place was wonderful and would definitely recommend it to anyone Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful and happy Rooms were very big, beautifully furnished, bathrooms big and spotless. None of us heard a sound overnight despite there being...
