We go every year, so that in itself makes a statement. It's a bit quirky, which can be viewed as a quality or a liability. Staircases and corridors to our room ascend, descend, ascend, descend... A minor problem with hot water, and the light over...More

We stayed in Mevagissey 3 nights in 2014 and loved it so much we came back.
This time we stayed at The Waterhouse which is situated right on the dock. Open the window and you can literally see the fish arrive off the boats.
Good window seat with great crab sarnies. Other half had the gammon sandwich and step daughter had fish and chips. 3 clear plates! Quick service and friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place for lunch
Wanted somewhere special to celebrate a birthday and decided on The Wheel House. Booking recommended as it does get very busy early evening. There was their regular menu and a selection of specials. Went for fish pie, fish and chips and mackerel on mash. All delicious...More

I've come back from a stay at The Wheelhouse and unfortunately as it right on the quayside there is no parking. We parked on at the harbour car park which was 3 mins walk away and cost about £5 for 24 hours, but you have to go through some very narrow cobbled streets to get there.
If you nervous about narrow streets and you don't have much to carry, then there are public car parks as you approach the village. One car park says "narrow streets ahead", and there is also a private car park just after that, both are less than 3 minutes' walk from The Wheelhouse.
This may not be relevant but there was public metered disabled parking just in front of the B&B.
Have a great trip!
