First time away since our daughter was born. Great hospitality, comfy bed and really good food. Would highly recommend. Also loads of lovely walking from front door and Heligan Gardens up the road is AMAZING.

We arrived on Friday afternoon, and warmly welcomed. The room had a great sea view and was very comfortable. We were given a five course taster menu on Friday night, a six course taster menu on Saturday. Sunday night was a la carte and was excellent. The presentation and quality and choice of food would put some Michelin Star restaurants... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of a ten day visit to the West Country. The building was originally a private house built in the 1930s in the arts and craft style and it retains nearly all it's features. It is now a very comfortable hotel with a moderate number of rooms. We were delighted with our room:... More

We stayed at this hotel on the 5 November and originally booked the hotel because it was meant to be dog friendly, but at the last minute decided not to take our dog. In the end we were glad we didn't as although the hotel charges £20 per dog, there are no facilities for them. They are only allowed in... More

My Brother and I nipped in here, for a coffee, around midday. The surroundings were lovely, very Agatha Christie, and lots of interesting works of Art displayed. Cleanliness sprang to mind and girl was very nice, who served us. I'd like to stay here for B and B so may just do that at some point!! Well worth a visit,... More

A beautiful location, lovely hotel, but I am allergic to dust. The skirting boards where very dusty. We had a lovely welcome, a lovely room, bedding, towels, everything was provided. Waiting times for evening was a bit long but well worth waiting for. Very good service.

We had set menu lunch today with family. Enjoyed a lovely sea view from the dining room. The children played in the gardens and we took a stroll to the little summer house with deck chairs cushions and blankets. Really beautiful. The meal was great value for three courses at lunchtime for the price you would pay for one course... More

Perched on the coastal path north of the delightful fishing village of Megavissy, Trevalsa is, in a good way, like stepping into a moment from the past. It is described as a country house hotel; it's a country house reminiscent of the 1940s and 50s, with comfortable and comforting furnishings, wood panelled rooms, a blazing log fire in the evenings,... The hunter's moon was amazing whilst you were here. We can't always guarantee that but the views are always lovely, along with everything else you describe. Thank you. More
