Many thanks for taking the time to write a review of our hotel. We are very lucky to be so centrally located on the main A390 between Liskeard and St. Austell, it makes getting to Cornwall’s attractions very easy! We hope that you will come and stay with us again soon. Kind Regards, Simon & The Team

We stayed here for 3 nights in late April. Overall very pleased with the Hotel and the location. Good, clean room - not huge but adequate. Ate in the Hotel restaurant on our first night. food was good but the restaurant lacked ambience as there was hardly anyone in and, as we were dining with a 5 year old, we...

Thank you for your review of your recent stay here with us. I was very sorry to hear that you believed our pool was closed. Early and late on in the season it is common for us to keep the special solar cover on in order to maintain the temperature of the pool. I would also like to apologise that...

Although there is no car park at the front of the hotel, turn left just after the hotel down Hillside Gardens and there is a car park at the rear of the hotel with a simple walk to reception. Checking in was quick and easy and our room was ready even though it was just before 1. Our room was...

Lostwithiel is a small village with very few places to eat so it is good practice to book a restaurant well in advance of your arrival, we had planned on two local eating places but they were both fully booked and we ended up eating in the hotel restaurant which turned out to be much better than the normal hotel...

Booked a couple of nights to visit friends and do some walking. Friendly welcome. Spacious clean dog friendly room. Great breakfast buffet selection. Would definitely recommend this hotel as a base to see the area.

Excellent room and service. Friendly staff. Great breakfast to keep us going while visiting Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. Really good value for a long weekend away or as a starting point to discover Cornwall. Good dinner to finish the day.

Don't judge a book by its cover or this hotel from its frontage. Exceptional value as we got an amazing deal but didn't expect so much........fabulous bathroom and everything you could need in your room, spotlessly clean, amazing breakfast with so much choice and everything cooked to order and everyone so friendly. Would definitely go back.

I stayed here for a weekend to attend a wedding at nearby Boconnoc house - my room was beautiful, very clean, everything in there you could possibly need, comfy bed and pillows, beautiful big bathroom, kettle and coffee maker, iron and ironing board. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the young man who served us breakfast each morning...

Lostwithiel is not exactly a picturesque town and the Fowey Valley Hotel from the outside did not look at all inviting. However it all changes once you are inside. The hotel has had a good make-over and the bedroom we had, No 8, on the ground floor was clean, comfortable and had a view over the garden. We ate in...

Many thanks for your kind comments, Room 8 is a lovely room (Superior Double), and whilst I agree with your comments about our frontage which we are hoping to make a start on this coming October, we felt it paramount to ensure that our 36 bedrooms & our F&B offering were refurbished first during this past few months of the...
