This latest visit was the 6th time we have stayed at Rosecraddoc. There were 4 of us (2 couples) and as is usual we stayed in a clean, warm, well equipped lakeside villa. They made us welcome at the Village Inn and the steaks we were served on Sunday evening were to die for. This is an ideal location to...

We, my wife and I, have just returned from the best UK holiday we have had in years. We booked one of the Lake View Villas, but as we were both recovering from a rather bad car accident, the lovely owners thought it would be nice to upgrade us to the Riverside Villa to aid our ongoing recovery. That act...

We spent a week in an apartment in the restyled stable block in the beautiful grounds of this old Manor near Liskeard. We looked out on a little waterfall at the back and the manor house and lake at the front. It was very comfortable and well fitted-out. In the neatly kept holiday village on the other side of the...

just returned from a week in Riverside Villa. There were 4 of us so we each had our own bedroom and on suite. There are 5 bedrooms, but the 5th one has to share facilities with the double bedroom downstairs. Not always convenient I would have thought to have some one traipsing through your bedroom in the middle of the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It has often been said that Rosecraddoc Manor must be the nearest thing to paradise. The manor properties stand in 38 acres of beautiful grounds and woodlands, set around a lovely lake, stocked with carp, roach and bream. Rosecraddoc Manor features a variety of properties surrounding the historic Manor House to cater for all tastes whether classic, modern, cosy or cottage style is what you are looking for. The manor was built in the 1820s on the site of a much older house mentioned in the Domesday Book. It is Grade II listed, along with two bridges in the grounds, and has now been converted into these attractive apartments and villas, making a perfect base for your Cornish holiday.Within 4 miles you can explore Bodmin Moor, where you can go horse riding, walking or try various water sports on Sibleyback Lake which include wind surfing, dinghy sailing and canoeing. To the south, lovely sandy beaches and pretty fishing harbours lie along the coast. Several excellent golf courses are also in the area. For evening relaxation, there is a licensed bar The Village Inn, serving good food just 300 yards from the Manor door, open evenings in the Summer and other good country pubs and restaurants can be found locally.• Fairytale setting in 38 acres of beautiful Manor Grounds• Some villas suitable for disabled people • Saunas are in most properties. • Jacuzzi or spa bath in some properties • Free private all-weather tennis court • Free private coarse fishing available all year • Four-poster beds are in some properties• 11 miles from the beaches of the South Cornwall coast ... more   less
