Stayed here for a business trip along with 3 customers. My guest were impressed with the hotel - it being a traditional Cornish country house and the rooms are very comfortable. We also dined in the restaurant and the the food (all locally sourced) was superb. I can't fault this hotel and Patrick & Julie are excellent hosts

What a welcoming place. We stayed 2 nights while visiting Eden project. As we were arriving on a Sunday evening we thought we'd better eat in. The meal was truly superb - special mention for the belly of pork and the apple pie, but it certainly didn't occur to us to eat anywhere else on our second night, the food...

My second trip to this really lovely country house. The rooms are warm, the showers powerful and the extensive grounds full of Robins, Pheasant, Squirrels and beautiful foliage, even in the winter. Being Coeliac, it's great that they have a full gluten free breakfast as well as lots of fruit and gluten free cereals if required. They also have a...

Excellent location on the outskirts of Liskeard, in walking distance of the station and the town shops. The house is a beautiful old Edwardian mansion, and one could well imagine being a house guest in those times. Breakfast was excellent, and late afternoon tea in the lounge was a relaxing treat. Our room (at the top of the stairs) was...

Pencubbit House is ideally located for a visit to Cornwall. It is in a very quiet laneway of Liskeard set in gardens of large trees, green lawns, and has excellent views. The entire house has a feeling of country elegance and the hosts are very attentive & responsive. Breakfast was excellent and we wished dinner was available in September from...
