We just spent two nights in Manor Cottage in the depths of winter and had the most relaxing (and romantic) break imaginable. We arrived in the pouring rain and were met by a crackling fire, sparkling lights and the most fascinating little cottage which has been in the Tamblyn family for generations. The cottage retains many original features such as...

Staying with my 12-year-old son in the lower yurt. Beautifully rustic, It's very tastefully decorated with kitchen equipment, a wood burner & electric blankets & use of a barbecue. A haven of peace, we woke up to the birds' morning chorus today. Delicious optional breakfast with homemade granola, jam & marmalade. Hosts are lovely & Tia offers amazing personalised massages.

What an incredibly charming place, the welcome was excellent, being greeted by a chicken. Our room was a great size with a great wooden carved bed. They offer a healthy vegetarian breakfast with fresh and tasty fruit.

Botelet has magical qualities and they rub off on you! We stayed in the ancient . Manor House and had it to ourselves. Everything is genuine, period perfect. Julie looked after us exceptionally well - from tea in the garden on arrival, wonderful breakfast, to advice and detailed maps of the area. Two days were much too short!

My wife and I stayed at Botelet Farm in late May for two nights. We cannot say enough good things about our stay here! We arrived from the U.S. exhausted and stressed. However, after turning onto the hedge-lined streets leading up to this charming, quaint property, we immediately felt the tension ease from our bodies. Julie, the inn-keeper, met us...

We spent an amazing week in Manor Cottage. It's a magical place, even in the autumn/winter when a roaring open fire puts the world to rights. The cottage was incredibly well equipped - with everything you would need to cook or bake, plus some really thoughtful staples already in the cupboards - and welcoming. Wonderful friendly family to welcome us...

We had an amazing time staying in the lower Yurt in Botelet. The view from the yurt and the most beautiful farm house make this a really unique place to stay. The yurt is so comfortable and warm with the log burner inside. We went exploring the little fishing villages around the area and found Looe amazing. It has so...

I have stayed in the cottages, the yurt and the farmhouse (my favourite) To awake to a heavenly view after a delicious sleep and to enter the farmhouse kitchen and feel part of history and then eat a smashing breakfast left me happy and full of the energy of this beautiful place.

What a cool place to stay. We stayed in the Lower yurt for 2nights, it was amazing. Tia gave me a massage on one of the nights which I recommend. Everyone was really welcoming and lovely, beautiful place to stay.

This Farmhouse B&B matches their beautifully written website exactly. My boyfriend and I had a very special stay here on Saturday night, we booked into the B&B room. Arriving around midday we met Julie who was so welcoming, we had some tea and biccies and a little wander around the beautiful grounds! After, we drove to 'Lostwithiel' to check out...
