my son and I arrived for a karaoke night in the hotel bar (open to the public) the locals were very friendly and made us feel at home. It was a fun night and we would love to go again. The drinks I was told by my son were about average price. Met some really friendly people and had a...

A colleague booked the two of us into a couple of rooms at this hotel whilst we were down in Cornwall undertaking a survey and I have to say that looking at some of the reviews made me apprehensive. I was wrong. As others have stated. the hotel has a small car park at the rear and there is a...

We had visitors from abroad that stayed at this hotel for a long weekend and they couldn't have been more pleased with the hotel and the service they were given. The staff was friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, the chef (Les) bent over backwards to please them. They will be happy to stay here again next time...

Old but charming hotel, staff were friendly, food was excellent and in generous portions, room was clean, wi- fi was a bit slow but not limited, My wife is a wheelchair user and all efforts was made by the staff to make her life easier, I have no hesitation in recommending it .

We fell upon this hotel after being double booked at our previous hotel. The lovely bar lady came to our rescue despite being on her own as all the staff had gone to a wedding. She made us feel so welcome and nothing was any trouble, we had a great evening in the bar with the Hayle karaoke club. A...

We (my wife and me) stayed there for one night during our walk on the southwest coast path. The staff is very friendly, rooms are quiet and clean, the building itself is a little bit old, but with character.

A little disappointing as you arrive to find a couple smoking at the enterance The reception was excellent and escorted us to our room but no offer was made to help with luggage The room was spacious but noted cobwebs on the bathroom ceiling which raises questions about cleaning elsewhere The mattress on my bed had seen better days and...

Very interesting building, but in need of a facelift! Feels like going back to the fifties...and maybe not in such a good way. My room was lovely and quiet, but looks out on to the car park, so separate from the hotel, needing to walk across car park to breakfast and past the loos and back of kitchen, with chef...

We very much enjoyed the evening and the Friday night karaoke in the bar was very entertaining. We were able to take our dog into the bar. All the locals were very friendly and we were made to feel welcome. Our room was situated in a court yard and it was nice and quiet even though the karaoke was still...
