Our two sons treated us to a night away on Valentines Day as a Christmas present. If you are looking for a retreat in a quaint and quiet Cornish fishing village this could be the place for you. Clean and spacious room, lovely terrace (it was a lovely February afternoon for a drink outside), good food for evening meal and...

I appreciate it is not the season and customer count is low but I kind of expected more. The menu for afternoon tea states 'Finger sandwiches, selection of petit cakes, home made scones, Cornish clotted cream and home made jam.' Which sounded traditional and exactly what we wanted on a lovely sunny mild February day. We ordered afternoon tea for...

This is a well placed venue over looking the water at Gorran Haven. Stopped by for a quick drink on a cold day. Dogs allowed in the bar which is good. Didn't find staff to be that friendly. A nicely finished place but felt it lacked soul.

Only been here a few hours. What a lovely place. Pleasant staff. Nice views. Room is very clean, very well laid out and there is a lift for disabled to the rooms. Still have 2 sleeps here to go but I'd come again! Lovely views from the bar area and sitting room.

The boutique hotel is set on a hill overlooking the sea at Gorran Haven and is about 5 minutes walk to the harbour from the hotel. We stayed at the hotel between Xmas and new Year. The staff were all very helpful. The rooms were luxuriously furnished as you would expect from a boutique hotel, and our room had a...

This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed. The decor and cleanliness second to none and our large room was fantastic with large windows looking down to the sea. The meals were of a high quality with a menu suitable for vegetarians as well as meat eaters. Fish and chips wonderful. Staff really attentive could not do...

We stayed at the Llawnroc hotel for three nights recently, dining in the restaurant for two of those. The experience was excellent throughout. The staff are perhaps the key element in this relatively new hotel's success in sleepy Gorran Haven, a few miles beyond the more famous Cornish village of Mevagissey. They were uniformly wonderful - caring, thoughtful and helpful...

We went here for the New Year package and as it was a long way for us we also stayed the night before as well on a D.B.B. All the staff are young but we were very well looked after throughout our visit. The staff were courteous and polite at all times. The chef has to be mentioned because the...

This hotel is absolutely stunning. We stayed for 2 nights for a weekend break, the rooms are big, modern, clean with fantastic bathrooms, white quality towels, bathrobes included, room service & friendly polite staff, nothing was too much trouble, highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again.
