We wanted to visit Cornwall and chose The Cormorant for its location for touring. The hotel is situated on a hillside overlooking the Fowey estuary, forests and fields. Its quiet location with the changing tides, pleasant gardens and local birdlife ensured a relaxing stay, with only an occasional china clay freight train passing by. The swimming pool and hot tub...

The hotel is perched on a cliff top and our room had a balcony with a view over the river. The good thing about this hotel is the fact it is located in a...

Lovely hotel, the room was comfortable, the views were stunning and the staff were excellent! The food was was delicious, dinner in the evening was really good and the kippers at breakfast were superb. The only slight downside was the heating for the pool had gone a bit AWOL, but the pool facility was so relaxing with lovely views. Can't...
