The Riverside, lives up to it's name and is right on the river at Boscastle and is a beautiful location. There is no parking with this hotel and you have to use the public car park which is nearby and is free after 5pm until 10am. The Staff have been excellent and very attentive. You are given your room key...

The Riverside is one of the pleasantest small hotels of the many in which I've stayed. The staff are very friendly, the room was very well appointed and everything one could wish for was provided. My room was at the rear beside the river, the sound of which was soothing. My son and daughter-in-law, who live nearby, joined me for...

We spent one night here during our vacation and this was one of our favorite hotels. The location is great and our window looked out of the stone bridge and we heard the water flowing over the rocks, a sound we loved. You do have to ring the bell to enter but then you are given a key to the...

Thoroughly enjoyed out stay in this gem of a hotel. We stay in a lot of hotels, both big and small and this is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The young staff are a joy, treat you courteously and are so helpful. They are a credit to the hotel. Food was excellent. In fact could not...

Booked very late so had no options but did not regret the outcome. Lovely place to be, right at the river right at the center of many walks. The restaurant, don't know, we arrived late due to traffic jams so did not have a meal here, breakfast was fine though. Rooms, old, but well kept and we had room 10,...

Boscastle is a lovely little place and The Riverside has a great location. Our visit didn't get off to the best start since the door bell wasn't working properly and the front door to the hotel is kept locked. Once we got inside the staff were friendly and showed us to our room. It's an old building and the stairs are...

We arrived in Boscastle on Sunday afternoon, had a look around and decided to try the riverside as it had good reviews, we were given room 2 which is very spacious with lovely views over the bridge and the river. The room was very clean and had everything that we needed, including blackout blinds on all 3 windows. We dined...

As previously mentioned in other reviews ,Breakfast and our evening meals were delicious ,with fantastic restaurant staff that couldn't do enough for you .One evening we had some family...

Boscastle was a great choice for a base for day trips: not too touristy and not even obviously on the coast, but with great access to the gorgeous coast path. The inn was clean, comfy and convenient, with affordable parking close by and a bus stop for trips to Tintagel. The food in the inn's restaurant was first class. The...

I don't have much to add to other reviews really - it's a fantastic location, and very comfy, although the room was a bit snug for my 6ft 4in husband - however, we would definitely return. The staff were so friendly and there is a really nice atmosphere which made it very welcoming. Our room overlooked the river, which was...
