I booked this restaurant for my Dads 80th birthday lunch as I know he loves it there. It was my first visit but it certainly won't be the last. From the moment we arrived (9 of us in total) we were impressed by the attentiveness of all the staff and their excellent service continued throughout the afternoon. As it was...

We returned to Tottington Manor for Mother's Day this year after enjoying lunch here on the same day the year before and having the time of our lives here on our wedding day in August 2016. As usual, the food was delicious and the staff were fantastic. We had the best time reminiscing about all our happy memories here. The...

It was a sunny day so we sat outside. There's few venues that offer such a lovely outlook. The bar menu for this place is very limited and not particularly imaginative. The children's menu has the usual fair. My duck starter was perfectly pleasant as was my wife's parfait. My main of lamb was well cooked but overall the dish...

We took our daughter (on her birthday and my wife's) and our son-in-law for lunch on Good Friday having not been to the hotel for several years. The restaurant was quite quiet (which surprised us) but had a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We chose to eat from the fixed price menu, so enjoying it we ended up each eating all three...

My wife and I chose Tottington Manor to celebrate my 60th birthday. The hotel was just the right size to accommodate all my intended dinner guests, so everyone could stay for the night after the meal. There is ample car parking. The location at the foot of the South Downs is idyllic in my opinion. From our first visit to...

We had a very relaxing lunch - excellent food and fabulous service! Great choice on the set lunch menu. Scallops, Duck, Lemon and Ginger dessert recommended. Decor wonderful. Easy parking. Wonderful views from the restaurant. Comfy lounge to take in coffee. Definitely will be back!!

We have just returned from an overnight stay celebrating a friend’s birthday. We were allocated what I believe to be one of the standard rooms at £100 (which included a great choice at breakfast). Initially I was slightly underwhelmed with the room as it was fairly small, but once we settled we soon realised it was quite adequate for one...

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Tottington Manor after getting married at St Mary de Haura in Shoreham on the 11th of August 2016. From start to finish, our wedding was absolutely perfect! The staff at Tottington are fantastic; Sara and Jan could not do enough to ensure everything was just right for our special day. I...

My husband and I had a lovely afternoon tea here. It was a very chilly day and we sat in a cosy room with a roaring log fire, which our server kept topping up with logs. We had chosen our selection of sandwiches when we booked, and could have open or closed ones, egg mayo, prawn and avocado, and smoked...

“Avoid older rooms with quirky features and uneven floors, but more modern rooms may be above the evening venue area and could be noisy. Our old room was actually really quiet.”

“When booking ask if you can be put either in the lovely new annexe that has just been built or a room at the back of the hotel as there are I think 3 rooms which are directly above the restaurant but its not a rowdy, noisy place. They also have a room with a Four poster bed. Beautiful old building very quirky.”

“We had a standard front facing room. The front facing rooms probably have nicer views.”
