The Shalimar is a cheap and cheerful place. At only £75 for a family room for one night you can’t really complain. It was clean and quiet although fairly dated and a bit worn out looking. The beds were comfortable and the room was very warm. Good working TV and fridge and good bathroom facilities. Although be warned there are...

We booked to stay at the shalimar for one night as it's not far from Twickenham and was cheap (£50a night)this was handy, all we wanted was a bed shower and a toilet. Are room was right at the top of the hotel. Upon entering our room we were hit with the smell of stale cigarette smoke ewwwwww the room...

Stayed here in October '16 arriving around 9:30pm and placed in a room right at the back on the top floor as they had a wedding going on and so said it would be quieter. Got to my room to find the light wasn't working so had to unpack and get ready using the bathroom light which wasn't ideal and...

The rooms weren't great but the beds were soft and clean. Went with two friends. Right near twickenham stadium only £23 each. Can't complain. The staff were friendly enough. If your looking for somewhere just to lay your head then it's fine. If you want a good hotel experience then give it a miss.

Stayed here again and we were happy as always. Clean comfortable room in the annexe. Nice en suite bathroom. Breakfast was good as always. Noticed the hot tray now in use which keeps food hot and covered. This was an issue in our last review which is now resolved. Will stay again without a doubt. Great value for money. Convenient...

We arrived on a Friday night to find parking full as they had a wedding. We were given keys and guided to the room. When we got to the second floor there was no light and we went down and complained, they followed me back and changed the bulbs. At first sight it looked ok, some nice touches like a fridge...

It's a bad hotel to stay in, we were disturbed all the time due to the sound of the aeroplanes from Heathrow. The rooms were very dirty and smelt really bad..however the staff was nice and caring. But I would never stay here again.

Room was dirty. Bedspread was not clean but they changed it when we asked. Carpet looked like not cleaned for ages. Big marks n stains. Very dark and gloomy place. Staff was polite. I checked out and went to a different hotel. They gave me a refund for the unused days. Room had a functioning refrigerator and teapot. I wouldn't...
