Very poor quality and food very poor quality. Staff very disinterested and don't care one young girl even tutted when she had forgot end the tea as she was to busy talking to her pal. Used a cup in the room and it was not washed all week just swilled out. Bed comfy and pool good

Great hotel in an ideal location to get to the city centre via the train. The rooms are nice clean and comfortable, the facilities are great. The bar food is very good value and very tasty, the breakfasts are second to none. The restaurant food is not great, and it is very expensive, we all had steak at £18 each,...

We booked this hotel after staying in many Village Hotels before. We upgraded to a club level room, knowing how good these have been previously; they are always very spacious, extra comfortable and are known to have fantastic bathrooms. The pictures on the website and the description led us to believe that this hotel was no different. On arrival we...

The hotel and staff were polite and friendly, but we had a bad experience in the jaccuzi where i trod on two pieces of broken glass and not a fat lot was done about it. Wouldve at least expected some money back towards our stay!

We upgraded so room was really nice. Had a meal in the bar which was good. Breakfast was really nice. They have a large gym and swimming pool which was free to use if you upgrade. Overall we had a lovely time, however if your planning on spending your time in the centre of Liverpool then you might be better...

Room was a little tired, but bed was comfortable, good nights sleep. We ate in the bar and food was ok, good value, service excellent. Disappointed that they hadn't stocked the bar properly though, no spiced rum and although they were advertising cocktails, they had no mixers to make them with! (It's Friday night, why is the bar half stocked?!?)...

Room was disappointing, not as advertised on the Internet, no cushions on the bed, dirty walls, poor heating in the room. Public bar staff friendly and helpful. Hotel difficult to find from the motorway.
