Facilities were poor. Staff indifferent. Decor very old fashioned. Needs a good clean. Buffet lunch ok on 2 occasions but the last day was dire. Very little edible food. Dry sandwiches. Room size ok. I think this hotel needs a good overall.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room absolutely stunk of cigarette stale smoke, the so called manager was not in the slightest bit interested in the situation, he offered one free drink in the bar! Which was offered through a member of staff, when I insisted on seeing the manager, it took him an hour...

Similar to my title if you are expecting a 5 star all inclusive sunbed filled beautiful hotel then I think you need to keep searching. What you will get however is for its price a hotel which is very homely with plenty of comfy leather sofas where you can enjoy present evenings and a basic but ok room. I can't...

Place looks Iike it has not been hovered in years. Stains on the carpets. Breakfast was just about passable. Room was a fair size. Had a good sleep. Location is not to bad. Overall opinion is you get what you pay for.

I booked this place in haste, for myself and two colleagues for an overnight business trip, and failed to check out the reviews first. What a mistake. I knew things were going to be bad when I drove into the car park. If you must stay here, please drive in carefully, as the potholes are canyon like. After checking in,...

Room was freezing cold and radiators not working. Spoke to reception who said heating was on a timer and would come on later at night. This didn't happen. Spoke to reception again who said all there mobile heaters were out so there was nothing they could do. No offer of room change, no apology, no offer of any compensation. Had...

I wish I had read these reviews before I booked. Stayed in another Brittania Hotel in December near Liverpool and it was great value for money. Thought this would be the same but it is like a half way house. I only stayed because it was late and I was far too tired to find somewhere else. Room smelled bad...
