I've never stayed in a guest house on my own before but couldn't have chosen a friendlier place. My single room was so cosy and comfy, toilet and sink separate to the shower which was fine for me but not ideal for a larger person. The hosts are lovely and Dankas breakfast was delicious. Plenty of variety to choose from...

We stayed here as it was convenient for a party nearby. We had booked an ensuite room so were disappointed to find that the toilet was next door in a communal bathroom. There was a basin in the bedroom and a shower cubicle in the corner of the room. The room was clean, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was also disappointing...

I stayed in a single room which was quite small but immaculately clean. The hosts were very friendly and cooked a nice breakfast. It also has a very nice pub 100m up the road which does excellent food. If you're looking for a no frills room then you won't beat this place and it's amazing value for £40.

Booked a room for my husband who received a warm welcome, a clean comfortable room and a hearty breakfast the next day. With free parking and wifi, absolutely outstanding value for money and will definitely revisit when in the area. There is a restaurant/pub within walking distance offering a great meals for around £20 -£30 plus drinks

This is a really good value B&B, with no frills, but everything you need. The hots are very friendly, with late checkout no problem on my last day, a great cooked breakfast with really good coffee, and basic, clean and comfortable rooms. At £40 a night, this place is really good value, and I would be glad to stay here...

I have stayed here several times now and it is always a pleasure. It is run by a very nice couple. It is in a good location. The rooms are absolutely fine. The breakfast is more than adequate. I don't actually have anything bad to say. It is good value for money.

Myself and my partner stayed here for one night before our recent flight to the USA. Overall we thought it was ok - bit musty in the bedroom we were in, no en suite bathroom though, the bathroom was down the corridor and shared with other guests. Breakfast was fine - cooked full English, toast and cereals in the very chintzy...

Stayed here this month whilst going to the 80s rewind festival, was made really welcome and was given a choice of room. The room was clean and tidy and had all the immunities you would expect ( kettle tea coffee sugar etc..) we were asked what time we would like our breakfast at and there was a good selection of...

I booked in here for a single night in April 2015. I was given a single room (Room No.1) and was told to go around the side of the building to where a block of 3 rooms were. Initla impressions of the room were that it was small, but it contained a bed, a shower and a separate toilet and...

friendly hosts, breakfast was good selection and you could have it at whatever time suited you ,which was good as we were back late from a concert at The Lowry, shower in the room and it was clean and tidy.
