Great atmosphere, everyone is friendly. Have some great entertainment, some tad cheesy but such a laugh. Landlady great. Great spot and near to taxi rank or short walk from bus station and tram station.

Drag artists and actors and actresses galore in here. A real Cabernet of talent in some many shapes and shades. You may be to old to rock and roll but you are not too young to die. A festival of fantasy awaits.

Very central,3minutes from town centre, the bus station and metrolink, basic room with washbasin,coffee/tea facilities and a tele. toilettes and bathrooms on the landing. Room was clean and also were the sanitaries. No noise from the pub downstairs (unless you've decided to sleep on the landing) once door closed. Staff very sympathetic, excellent lodgings if your not too fussy. Breakfast copious...

We had a ball in this pub. They have a singer and karaoke on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere is fab. You have such a great time and see anyone that wants to singing . Would recommend

A wonderful afternoon experience for young and old alike. People can enjoy being themselves or enjoying their alter ego . All dress codes allowed and some great theatrical costumes are worn by so many people. The ladies prog rock music was excellent

The place is in desperate need of updating, the staff are rude and seem to take advantage of the " take one for yourself" especially one of the girls with plaits. I visited a few weeks ago and will not be visiting again. The staff don;t seem to have a smile in them nevermind manners and basic customer service. Would...

A friendly hotel from the first point of contact. The rooms are very basic and not en suite but for a short stay they are comfortable enough. A great breakfast is served and in the evening there's a lively bar to enjoy or for other entertainment the hotel is ideally placed near the town centre so everything is in easy...

I visited The WhiteLion recentley and was disgusted with the female Bar Tender. Not only did she ignore me whilst waiting to order a drink but her language whilst behind The bar was Unaccepatable. I walked away from the bar as I was stood waiting too long to purchase a drink Will not be visiting there again

Our room wreaked of smoke despite the fact that there was a smoke alarm in the room. Bedroom had twin bed & were the most uncomfortable beds I've tried to sleep in. Would only recommend if proximity to main town was a must. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Needs redecorating throughout .
