I've just returned from a short stay at the Pewterers House and it was lovely in every way. Barbara made us feel extremely welcome. The rooms were a great size, spotlessly clean with extremely comfortable beds, a great shower and tea/coffee making facilities as well. After a good night's sleep we had a fabulous breakfast. The location of the B+B...

Stayed here on August 4th when we came down for a wedding. It's a beautiful part of Worcestershire (not Shropshire as someone else posted) The rooms were clean, the beds extremely comfortable & the breakfast was superb. My daughter & I are vegetarian & we were provided for with veggie sausage on our breakfast. Cereals, toast, full English, filter coffee...

Lovely B & B, we stopped 1 night, the King room was booked so had the twin bedded room, very clean, and handy its just a short walk into town. The breakfast couldn't be faulted. A choice of cereals, fruit and full English. Parking is a tadge awkward as the B&B is up a narrow one way track, and if...

It was the name of the B/B at BEWDLEY in Shropshire that caught our attention--- "Pewterers House" run by Barbara Payne, From the very beginning of our arrival we were made to feel at home. Out twin bedroom was truly super and from the window we were just able to see and hear the whistle of the Severn Valley Railway...

Stayed for 2 nights found place clean owner friendly. We stayed in the King Suite which was a bedroom with seperate bathroom which you had to walk across a landing to get to, although it was all private to yourself there was a gallery which was open to front door. Parking was also tricky up a narrow lane behing oneanother. Thought...

Arrived dishevelled, and tired as we had understimated the time and distance of our walking route.... the welcome and hospitality could not have been warmer despite our fatigue. This coupled with an impeccably clean room, comfortable beds and a really good breakfast mean I just can't fault this place- and it is really handy for Bewdley town centre just across...

Once you've stayed at Pewterers House, you will come back. We were made so welcome and the standard of accommodation was very good. On the return trip, if you book direct with the owner, there is discount available - just make sure to tell her you've been before.

I periodically stay in the Bewdley/Kidderminster area on business, and although I had stayed at the superb Mug House Inn in Bewdley, I couldn't get in and just managed to get a room at the Pewterers House Guest House. This place is a gem! It's cheaper than the Mug House of course (it doesn't have a bar and restaurant) but...

“If you do want to book this B & B insist you get the one with the wardrobe, bath and shower”

“I stayed in the 'King's Suite', ideal for whatever duration of stay. The bed is large and very comfortable and overlooks the river. It couldn't have been cleaner and the way the layout of the house works, you basically live in your own quarters separate from the other rooms; perfect if you’re after maximum privacy. The bathroom is 4 steps outside the door of the room (but again in a private area of the house so it doesn’t matter), and is nothing short of a 5* hotel. Sizeable shower, bath where the taps and centred, tiled floors, a number of complimentary wash/bathroom products on offer and generally a nice classic bathroom appeal.”
