Perfect dog walk around the Wyre forest followed by a fine selection of guest beer and wonderful food ! Great staff and a perfect pooch pub ( keep an eye out for drew and his gravy bone pockets:).) the food in the bar or the terrace is as good as the fine dining in the angry chef restaurant attached !...

Mug House is a lovely place to stay in an ideal position, right on the river. Quiet, very accessible to town and walks. We stayed in the cottage next door, large quirky room with sloping floors due to the age of the property. Large bathroom. Very comfortable.

The Mug House Inn turned out to be just what I was hoping for, a small characterful pub hotel which was really friendly. Quietly located by the river our room ("daffodil") had plenty of space and nice views over the river and more distant the steam railway. The building is old and the floors slope and creak, but the bed...

I have used the Mug House as a pub on occasions too numerous to mention but this was the first time I had stayed as a guest. My room - the Rose Room - was beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. At £75 a night including breakfast it represented excellent value for money.

Nice atmosphere, quality staff and good beer. Loved the 'third' of a pint idea. Three thirds £3-60, quick way to get merry! Wish more pubs would do this. Good choice of ales and all were well kept. The Bewdley Brewery 'Worcester Way' was my favourite. Hope to be back soon. Enjoy

We were a group of six couples spending 4 nights at the hotel. We stayed in the Lavender Room which is in the roof up 2 flights of stairs. The room is of good size with ample cupboard and drawer space. The separate shower room being long and thin is adequate. Tall people need to be aware of the low...

Mug House is a typical english pub with decent accommodation. I have not eaten in the pub as the food is not served outside where the views of the rowing club and river are. The rooms are clean and tidy and if you are not keen on climbing stairs, try to avoid the lavender room, which is three flights up.
