We held our gathering after our daughters christening here and we were really happy with it. The buffet was absolutely delicious, everyone enjoyed it and they were very helpful and accomodating for us. Thank you!

5 of us had lunch here today for a family members birthday and were very impressed. An extensive menu with lots of choices, great portions and really tasty food. The outdoor courtyard seating area is lovely and so accessible being just off the highstreet but away from all the hustle and bustle. My husband had the abnormal breakfast and was... More

I think average is a fair description. Stay here and you will be reasonably comfortable but don't expect too much. Positives; Great pub atmosphere Great ales Reasonable rooms Good position within Marlborough Very good English breakfast Negatives; Rooms are tired and need a better clean- we found previous occupants rubbish in ours, not that we were looking for it. We stayed bed and breakfast and there was a live band in the evening. Great fun, great place to stay. Very clean. Comfy bed too. Just off the High Street. Walking distance to Zaika for excellent Indian food.

The Lamb Inn is a Real Pub and Hotel, one that has a great feel to it as soon as you step inside. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean ( bed a bit lumpy) but who cares because the best bit was breakfast! It was fab😋, all sourced locally , bacon , sausage, eggs etc.... This... We went to a pub just up the road which was not very good , decided to try The Lamb as it was only across the road . On entering very noisy with locals , just a basic bar nothing a cosy about this pub . Mainly workers enjoying a Friday drink before heading home . The beer is Wadworth's... More

Arrived about 4pm to what had been a busy weekend after a jazz festival in Marlborough so the courtyard was busy with customers and a jazz band who were packing up.Our room was up a steep staircase in the stable block and rather tired with basic and tatty furniture.Bathroom good except extractor fan and toilet flush very noisy.TV plug had... Be aware, there is no on-site parking - you will have to park in the street, and spaces are hard to come by. This is mainly a drinking pub - heaving on a weekend evening; we had lunch, which was nothing special; accommodation is limited and cramped; the water supply is also prone to failure - tough if you are... Stayed the night due to working in the area, and did not know what to expect as a double room was only £55! Although there's no car park your vehicle will be safe as the Lamb is in a lovely sleepy village. On arrival I wondered past the bar and was greeted by a lovely member of staff who was... More
