A beautiful house in a picturesque setting. A warm welcome from the lady owner and one of her dogs. Tea, coffee and cake were also provided on arrival. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The makings for tea, coffee and hot chocolate were provided in the rooms along with a selection of biscuits, sweets and chocolates. The grounds...

We booked to stayed here due to personal reasons purely on the proximity to Great Bedwyn but were just so pleased with the place. What we found was a truly fabulous B&B, the hosts were really welcoming with cake and coffee on arrival and the house itself is in a lovely, peaceful and secluded setting. There are 3 rooms in...

A warm welcome into a beautiful house, complete with dogs and an Aga! Every comfort in our room with an en-suite bath/shower room. Plenty of little touches and nothing was too much trouble. Deserving of its Gold standard award. Had a good meal at The Swan, just a 10 minute walk there, across the railway line, the canal and a...

First stop on our cycle holiday from Reading to Bristol along the Kennet and Avon Canal. An oasis of calm and relaxation after what had become a very difficult first leg of our journey. Ali and Tony were very welcoming and genuine. Lovely home cooking and wonderful place to eat in the orangery overlooking the garden. Tony very kindly also...

The weather was cold and wet, but the misery of our cycle trip along the Kennett and Avon canal evaporated on our arrival at Crofton Lodge. Ali and Tony made our stay extremely comfortable. This was the second time I had stayed at Crofton Lodge, it is unlikely to be our last, but possibly on our next visit we may...

We were spoiled rotten by Ali and Tony. Everything had been thought of….From the assortment of coffee, tea and hot chocolates tastefully presented by the bed, to the updated rooms, complete with ironed sheets and lovely clean bathrooms. The breakfast room is breathtaking, as is the opulent breakfast served. We wished we could have stayed longer. Wonderful hosts, wonderful house....

My wife and I stayed at Crofton Lodge for one night before a cycle ride and found it to be absolutely perfect. Ali and Tony were extremely welcoming and the accommodation is beautiful. I would highly recommend Crofton Lodge to anyone looking to stay in the area.

I would like say to say this is 'home from home' but it's 100 times better ! Ali & Tony are fantastic hosts - the rooms, location & breakfast are lovely - probably THE BEST B&B we have ever stayed at - they even lit a beautiful fire in the guest lounge ready for our arrival ! Lovely 30 min...
