Our first visit here exceeded our expectations. Entering through the large gates into the beautiful courtyard, we received a very warm welcome and as our luggage was transported to our room we were given an informative tour of the hotel and spa. There are beautiful grounds to

Our friends were married at Whatley Manor 11 years ago, and it was a wonderful experience to join them at the hotel for that occasion. Last week we were all lucky enough to get a Secret Escapes deal, and returned. The hotel has definitely evolved (as you would expect!) but many

Had a one night stay with 2 adult daughters, to make use of the excellent spa facilities. Great, efficient service, and excellent dinner in Greys Brasserie. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. I would strongly recommend this hotel, and will certainly visit again

My wife and I this past weekend celebrated our 8th visit to Whatley Manor (we go every year for a two night stay), so we are very familiar with the hotel, its restaurants and its overall quality (which is superb). We have also seen the place and its practices change and evolve

Are pets allowed in every room. What about guests with allergies?
Hi Christine. I know pets are allowed but not sure if allowed in every room. As far as allergies I am sure the very professional staff can deal with most things if they know in advance

where is the golf course affiliated with Whatley?
We recommend Minchenhampton Golf Club which is 10 miles away or Bowood House.

Absolutely and they would even make something especially for you. I'm vegetarian and have always had lots of choice. You can always check their web site for sample menus too. Enjoy your anniversary ❤️

Is there a dress code for the restaurants? Thanks
There is no dress code as such, but it is a very nice setting so the upper end of Smart Casual would be my description. Avoid blue denim, jacket for the gent would be appropriate. It is a relaxed place on the whole so I wouldn't go for formal attire. It can be a little on the warm side so go for something you are comfortable in and layers if possible. Hope that helps.

Has anyone stayed here with a dog(s)?
Yes we did - no problem to leave dog in room while enjoying dinner and spa, nice grounds for walk, the package includes little toy and bottled water for your pooch!
