Once a year I organise a sales meeting for the UK Tilley Hat Agents. We like to travel to a different part of the UK each year and this time we struck gold! There were seven of us altogether the 3 girls occupied The Wells and The Glenmoor self catering apartments on the top floor of the main house, and...

Having stayed at Westwood Lodge on business it will make me think twice befoe staying in a normal hotel again. The quality and service was absolutely top class and it really did make business a pleasure. Many thanks

Very high standard and impeccably clean. Hospitality second to none - one of the best places I've ever stayed in. Highly recommended as either a holiday cottage or as a sales meeting venue for 8 people. Great restaurants, bars and facilities in Ilkley too.

My husband and I recently spent a week at the Westwood Lodge and were extremely pleased, not only with the standard of the accommodation, but the hospitality and surrounding area. The apartment was very well equipped, the beds comfortable, all the rooms a good size. Our friends who came to visit were also amazed by the Lodge. The garden roof...

Thank you. It's a long way from Bermuda and we were delighted to help - if only in a small way - to make your big trip special. Whilst all well behaved children are welcome in our apartments, the courtyard cottages are the best bet for a familily with young children. We can provide cot, stair gates, high chair and...

Our family (7 adults & 4 kids aged between 4 months and 11 years) stayed at the Old Gallery and had a wonderful week. The accomodation at Westwood Lodge is of a very high standard, clean, warm and very welcoming. The beds are very comfortable as is the living space. Dogs are welcomed just as much as the people and...

We're delighted that you found us as a great place for your Autumn Half-term break. We look forward to you staying again next year - same week, same accommodation and (of course) the same sunny weather!

My friends and I stayed in the Old Galley at the end of September for my 50th birthday. I cannot praise the accommodation and hospitality of Tim & Paula enough. We were made very welcome from the moment we stepped out of the mini bus to leaving Ilkley at the end of our stay. Paula even helped to carry our...

Special occasions - big birthdays, wedding anniversaries, Christenings etc. - all deserve to be special. We don't do mediocre! We'll always do our best to add those finishing touches to make your stay memorable. Happy 50th and thank you for your kind comments. Tim & Paula

We stayed at west wood lodge during the summer and it really was a splendid place. Tim and Paula both made us very welcome and we enjoyed looking round the site with it's traditional gardens and courtyard. The rooftop garden was particularly exciting with spectacular views in all directions. We were staying in the Coach House Cottage which provided very...

My husband, daughter, and I stayed in the Scullery Apartment, having finally got there after a long and tiring journey from Canada. It was a very welcoming experience to have arrived at our final destination! We familiarized ourselves with the grounds, and our daughter was more than happy to see a trampoline (!!!), wendy house, pigs, hens, rooster, bikes, soccer...

We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us - all the way from Canada! We always try to ensure that everything has been thought of - particularly if you're flying to the UK and limited on luggage space. You certainly packed a lot in during your stay here and took full advantage of the gym, Jacuzzi and - of...

we stayed for a week in the old gallery with our two young kids, both grandparents and a very large dog. The location of the cottages is fantastic as it is right next to the moor (although the houses don't have a view onto it) and walking distance still from ilkley town centre, which is lovely and has plenty of...

Ah yes! The biggest dog we've had stay for a very long time. He was enormous - but very friendly and very welcome (as well behaved dogs are in our cottages). Our website contains floor plans for each cottage and apartment here so that you can work out which rooms will work best for each member of your party. This...

We spent a week in the Moorview apartment and wow what a view! Ilkley is a great base to visit other great places in Yorkshire (Bolton Abbey, Brimham Rocks, Haworth to name a few) and Westwood Lodge was a very comfortable and relaxing home from home. The garden is great for children of all ages (my daughter is 10) where...

We're glad you particularly enjoyed Paula's Aga-baked homemade cake. She gets up at 6 o'clock to start baking on Fridays and Mondays (changeover days). She uses eggs from our hens - as long as they've laid enough! Tell your daughter that we will be getting some more hens over the winter as we like to have enough eggs to also...
