Stayed her for the weekend on the 3rd and 4th Jan using a voucher from Buy a gift. We had a very warm friendly greeting from the reception staff who gave us directions to our room, which upon entering was a spacious well decorated, clean and tidy room. We ate in the hotel both nights, the first night sampling their...

Stayed at the Craiglands for 1 night on Sat 3rd Jan using a Groupon voucher. Very friendly & helpful staff on reception who were happy to let us check-in early. Stayed in room 141 which was large, well furnished, warm & very clean. Had a lovely afternoon tea with champagne, sandwiches & cakes (also using a voucher - I like...

My wife paid for us to visit this hotel as a Birthday treat. A beautiful, grand hotel high up in Ilkley we were immediately greeted with warm welcome and a smile. They were preparing for a 'Hollywood' themed night, we were offered the opportunity attend for a small fee. but declined as 'theme' 'cabaret' nights aren't really our thing. However,...

We booked this venue in July 2014 for our New Year party, we went as a party of six and all enjoyed the evening. We arrived on New Years Eve and checked into our room on the first floor which was very spacious and well decorated. We walked into Ilkley which was 10 minutes stroll downhill. The evening started with...

A belated review of our Wedding here at Craiglands back in October 2013. When looking for venues back in 2012, My Wife to be & I accidently stumbled upon The Craiglands when returning from a day out on Ilkley Moor. It quickly pulled us in with its beauty & charm & before we knew it we had booked our wedding....

Dirty, Difficult to get to the room due to an insane amount of steep stairs and corridors, reservations weren't booked properly despite being taken by the manager. It was so bad we checked out a day early.

After reading a review about a wedding a week before mine I honestly don't know why it was given one star. We got married 11th October 2014 and the day couldn't have been any better. Nicky the wedding co-ordinator kept in contact with me most weeks to check details over email and calls. We booked our wedding 2 years in...

Our stay at the Craiglands Hotel, Ilkley, last August was certainly our most enjoyable hotel experience for many years. I take my hat off to the General Manager, Chris Dodgson for his service, his kindness and his organisation.

The staff at the hotel are really nice and very helpful, but the hotel is tired, the rooms cold and the plumbing won't give a consistent temperature when you shower. We moved rooms twice - one due to a noisy event going on until 1am, and one due to a cold room round the back next to the main chimney...

Bar was understaffed by one man who did not understand English. Wine was unaccountably overpriced given the very limited scope (seen more variation in local co-op). Dinner Food was good. Breakfast had no coffee, and juices were like worst cheapest kids sugrary rubbish.
