The cost of the food in this hotel was very expensive, the portions were very small for the very high price. There was no heating in the bathroom. and the hot water took for ever to arrive at the taps

We recently visited on a packaged music weekend. The hotel is very old and as such has plenty of character. It is situated at the top of quite a steep hill. Walk down the hill 300 yards to the bus and rail station. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food on offer is good and the buffet breakfast is...

Paid £149 for a night and expected to get something decent. Having looked on their website the rooms looked decent. However it is very deceiving. I got a very small boxed room. There was cracks on the wall and damp on the ceiling. The lamp didnt even work and they had masking tape around the lights. Carpets were filthy and...

The hotel has lovely views from the bedrooms and is fairly well equipped and furnished. The decoration is tasteful and well maintained. The only downside was that there were a number of functions in progress during our stay and resources appeared a bit stretched,

We decided to stay here having drove by a few times. The room was lovley and the bed is very comfortable. Despite the fact the hotel was fully booked it was very quiet which was much appreciated. The breakfast was buffet style but it wasnt the best breakfast ive had. The sausages were cheap and I wouldnt have minded but...

From the smell of urinals to rotting facade, rotting decking, dirty plastic plants, fake bay trees, chipped tables, staff who don't care, managers who care less, decor in a "heritage" building that would suit a cheap curry house. SHOCKING! And to top it all SO EXPENSIVE

An impressive hotel with an interesting history. Our room was clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. We didn't have a view but there was easy access to the moors and some excellent walking directly from the hotel. The gardens are not what they would have been but this doesn't detract from the overall look of the hotel. staff were helpful...

We stayed at the Craiglands for two nights and on first glance it seemed to be a rather impressive, old style hotel. The staff were friendly and despite the large function that they had, we got a car park space. The breakfast was standard and quiet which was nice. The room was an ok size with the bathroom being the...

The location is great, near the amenities and the station. Ample parking, but very rough tarmac. Ilkley moor located behind the hotel, if you can find the access point to the trail! The room had high ceilings, desk, tv, wardrobe and ensuite. The contents were good but there were many flies and moths. The room was very dated and had...
