Fantastic little place. intimate bedrooms with sumptuous beds, clean and tasteful decor with a vintage bathtub in the bedroom allowing for a seamless transition from the rose scented bath to your bed in two easy steps! Perfect for a romantic getaway with your lover.

Overnight stay on return from holiday. Lovely warm atmosphere on arrival helped by a "real log" fire. Good service and food in the restaurant in the evening and breakfast was ok as well. Bedroom was comfortable but we were woken twice by people returning to their rooms in the early hours. Bathroom looking rather tired and shower in need of...

We could only stay one night but wished it could have been more. We were greeted warmly on arrival and the young man offered to help us with our luggage which you don't often get nowadays. The room was very well thought out given the shape and the bed was huge & comfortable. There was ample seating so you weren't...

We stayed for two nights at a weekend in December in room 10 on the top floor. We walked from the nearby railway station , Ben Rhydding , which is no more than five minutes walk. Although we arrived slightly earlier than check in time the room was ready and it was very cosy with a gorgeous bed , some...

My partner and I stayed here for a night as we were over in Yorkshire visiting Bolton Abbey and Harrogate. We stayed in room 10 which is on the top floor. Lovely decor, nice ensuite and a very comfy bed. We ate dinner in the pub which was delicious, as was the breakfast the next morning. All the staff were...

To be honest on arrival we were a little dubious as the car park is to the rear of the property which is not its best aspect and we arrived in the evening on a foggy night but that's me being really honest and balanced and has not effected our rating at all. As soon as we got to reception...

The initial impression on arrival is that it is not in the most attractive of areas. However, the Hotel is excellently situated for visiting attractions such as Soltaire and the 5 Locks. We were put off by the number of families with small children running around on arrival, but we soon realized this was not a problem and our evening...

We went for a meal here. The environment was more like someone's lounge than a pub or restaurant. In a good way. The food was absolutely wonderful. Restaurant quality food at pub prices. The staff were friendly and attentive to just the right degree. Cannot comment on accommodation as we did not stay but using the dining experience as reference,...

We stayed at the Wheatley Arms during the Ilkley literary festival and it was the perfect base during that time. Our room was beautifully kept, with a gorgeous roll top bath, and the food we had in the restaurant was top notch. There seems to be a very good line in game - delicious venison and pigeon dishes - and...
