Lovely hotel with good good, comfortable rooms and ideal for walking/cycling along the canal. The only complaint was the cold shower in the morning but the receptionist was very quick to apologise and go to check the boiler. As it turned out the boiler had broken down so was beyond their control. On checkout she called the managed who again...

I stayed here with my boyfriend and our friends last Saturday night as we had tickets to see Mercury at the Ritz and we wanted to enjoy the night and not have to worry about driving back to York after. I didn't book the rooms so can't comment on that process however my friend said we had b&b at £70...

Dear Rachael, Thank you for your detailed review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us & especially breakfast in the morning. Since your stay with us, all the bathroom fans have now been upgraded & replaced, this was just the outstanding part of our huge refurbishment program from 2015. They were slightly delayed due to the supplier. The...

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The rooms are small but very clean, quiet and comfortable, I even had a view of the river. The Prego restaurant was good and the prices very reasonable, but the biggest surprise was the breakfast, it was by far the best I’ve had in years, freshly cooked and served...

No wonder this hotel and restaurant consistently win awards. Something for all the family. The staff and management go over and beyond. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The beds awesomely comfortable. The food, delicious! Can't recommend highly enough!

Stayed here for a night back in feb for our friends christening. Room immaculate. Breakfast delightful. They even allowed us an early check in as we arrived earlier than expected. Staff are well trained and very friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The only problem is the small carpark and finding a space.

Nice looking place, and not too hard to find. The guy on reception was quite condecending which is off putting but I'll ignore that. At £50 I though good value, as it was a single room. When I got to the room I wasn't overly surprised by the single bed, but noticed the traffic noise immediately. When I looked out...

Thank you for your very valuable feedback. Apologies that you did not receive our usual warm welcome on check in, I'm glad this did not affect your stay as of course we understand the importance of first impressions. As we are a town centre hotel, unfortunately we cannot completely avoid all traffic noise but we can usually accommodate guests wishes...

Small, unexciting hotel. Room was nice enough since we paid for an upgrade and had a nice Jacuzzi and big bed. The noise of the other guests was quite off-putting. Definitely kept me awake with the creaky doors and floorboards. Breakfast was lovely. Parking can be tricky but we were lucky and got in straight away. Overall nothing to complain...

Well its very rare i give a 5 rating but i think very much deserved on this stay.. The booking was done on booking.com for a weekend stay for both my birthday and attending a dance at the local Ritz Ballroom. This is the ideal location as the ballroom is only a short walk away. But re our stay. The...

We stayed at the Waterfront Lodge in Brighouse in February 2016 as a couple. The hotel is central to Brighouse, and is a former mill. There is a car park attached to the hotel, but be aware that it is a Pay for Parking car park between 8am-6pm Mon-Sat. In addition, as there is a restaurant attached to the hotel,...
