Excellent B&B with a romantic medieval setting. The views from the rooms and grounds are spectacular. Modern conveniences within the building originally constructed in the 16th century. The breakfast (somewhat pricey) area is located within an old wine storage cellar. Located not far from excellent restaurants and the medieval town of Certaldo.

Rustic and secluded, but with a great location. Easy to get to a ton of surrounding farms and wineries, and they even give you a free iPad to use with a sim card so you can navigate without using data. Fantastic spot overall.

Our family of 5 enjoyed an incredible 5 nights at Il Paluffo. We loved the relaxed atmosphere, quality of the apartment, and friendly staff. We took advantage of the pasta making lesson with Patricia on our first night and highly recommend doing this activity. We had an absolutely fantastic stay and felt at home at Il Paluffo. Staff did a great job at making our stay comfortable and relaxed. They provided great suggestions and advice on places to eat and things to see and do. We were able to use a complimentary IPad which was very useful for our driving trips. Il Paluffo is...

The Il Plauffo is a lovely place with a medieval charme outside, and the perfect mixture between the medieval charme and luxury on the inside. When we arrived, the owner first gave us a warm welcome and then gave us a free house tour where we learned about Il Paluffo's history as a olive oil farm. Then, we got a...

We absolutely loved our stay at Il Paluffo. Our flat was great, the swimming pool was amazing and the staff, from manager to housekeeper, was just lovely and helpful throughout. The swimming pool is of course the highlight of the place and it is truly spectacular - just incredibly beautiful! We stayed for 5 nights in the "Torre" apartment, which...

This is a perfect spot for a Tuscan retreat to enjoy the sun, wine and local food. The building itself is incredible and immaculately maintained with a lot of character which gives it its appeal over sanitised designed hotels in Tuscany. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pasta making lesson we had organised for us was heaps of fun...

The best way to enjoy il Paluffo stay is to rent a car or a vespa, we can arrange the reservation if made with a reasonable time in advance in peace season. Our activities requires a minimum number or participants that sometimes we cannot get. Thanks a lot for your stay and we hope to meet you again! Arrivederci Liana...

Paluffo features four independent apartments, each of them with a private garden – Torre, Stillo, Forno and Frantoio -, and the owner’s house, with four rooms available for B&B. The housing estate includes the historical mill, completed with a millstone and a press for the pressing of olives, a fermentation room used in the past for the production of wine, a wine cellar dug in the tufa rock, a bread oven and two wells.
